I want to set up a forum for all the times of the tracks on the F1 06 PS2 game if anyones interested.

Sorry about starting it in that thread, anyway i'll upload all my best times tomorrow and then everyone can post there HONEST lap times and i'll update the record laps table every weekend. What do you all thing, all suggestions welcome

Rules:
1 Time Trial only
2 Tyre wear and fuel usage off and compoent failure off
3 NO DRIVING AIDS except stability control and TC
4 To prove the time a picture of the time on the time trial sheet must be provided if requested
5 Rules may be modified or added if necessary.

Now have fun trying to beat my times, some are better than others!
*The Jerez track can be unlocked if you get gold in all the tracks time trial. Just in case your wondering where it came from.

So i'll setup a leaderboard thing for each track.
I'll start with Istanbul for obvious reasons.
PS The reno can do the ferrari times between 2 to 5 tenths faster

What level stability control do you use? I’ve never used it before, but from a quick test it seems to cure some of the bizarre physics (like a car spinning when going through a slow corner if you have more than 0.2 camber).

Haha, after 14 laps my time at Istanbul was 1'26.717 in the Renault. Gotta hate how F106 rounds times up to certain thousandths of a second.

Thanks for the setup GT4 genius, the setups in F106 just confuse me.

I was Renault and its all because im starting to set up the car to the track.

Flat out through turn 5, the chicane after the 2nd hairpin and look what i got:

I got flat through first chicane after the hairpin and i just take my foot out of the pedel through second.

The Ferrari's handle like a dog for me a much prefer a Merc or a Renault.
