Alonso go in on skill, Stroll didn't.
How many points has Alonso got? 🙃

Turn 1 is going to be super interesting today, Russel nailed it last year, Hamilton is looking more aggressive this weekend as well, I do feel it won't be a McLaren leading at the end of lap 1.

How many did stroll get last year and the year before that?

Flavio is kicking ass with his 3 headed monster worth half a Stroll.

Norris screwed up the start like normal.

The Mercs, and Russell, in particular with a bad start. They'll struggle even more with their tyre wear now.

He had Piastri's problem from Imola. Trying to cover both Russell and Verstappen.

He need to focus on Max as Max is the bigger threat as due to skill level and car.

If he did Russell passes him down the inside. He loses out either way. The car is only so wide.

But russell is easier to pass due to the car being weaker.

Missed the first few laps. Not surprised Max is P2. Kinda surprised George is P6. Go, Lando!

Why is it as soon as team mates start racing eachother, commentators just automatically say they should swap positions, it's a race.

Tsunoda in pits early while on mediums which could go to lap 20.

This sort of talk started when the Pirelli tyre eating era began in 2011. Tyres dictating the race rather than outright speed. It's sad but that's the state of modern Formula 1. On another note, that Ferrari for Hamilton looks like a go kart around turns 3 and 4, it's crazy.

Let's see if Lando has learned how to pass Max.

Helps if Max doesn't even bother to defend.

McLaren have filled their tires with petrol so they have to fuel manage less or some other excuse that they're faster than us
-Red Bull, Properly

Max is taking a lot of life out of those tires by driving that fast, even if he is on a 3 stopper he might not win at this rate.
He is only 20s behind Oscar.

Oscar really pulling away now.

They probably should have pitted both earlier

Apropos of Strolonso, FACC shows Stroll with 100% of Aston's points - which means that Alonso has always finished ahead of Stroll when both cars have finished.

GTPFF1, with the basic 20 to 1 driver points, has Stroll ahead by one 8th.

Then they will have to do a 3 stop.
If they can do a 2 they might have a better chance.
Heck, their tires are going to be 8 laps younger than Max's

Looked like Lawson v Albon contact.

edit: Yup, wing damage.

moar edit: Boo, Albon retired.

Ah, Albon retiring after serving 10 seconds.

Albon is retiring.

Chief Ferrari strategist Leclerc may have played a blinder here. Podium definitely on now.

He is the only one with 2 sets of MED tires (that matter).

Lawson and Bearman did something just now.
