If I heard correctly, Stroll gets a free pit stop out of this race stop? So shouldn’t both the McLarens? I guess I’ve missed something.

I think it's just that they can change their tires.

Biggest winners with the Safety Car and Red Flag so far: Stroll, Gasly, Raikkonen, Bottas, Latifi.

Biggest losers: Hamilton, Giovonazzi, Sainz Verstappen, Perez

Are the Macs sticking to the same tire they’re on, just a fresh set?

The commentators made a comment about Stroll being the favorite as Gio and Ham have to pit soon after the restart and then so will the Macs.

Under "normal" circumstances Gasly (especially) and Raikkonen would've boned as they came in before the SC, it was only the closed pit-lane that saved them.

I think they should be okay if they started on softs. They pitted for mediums. Not sure why they would pit again.

Standing Start??? This is just the FIA giving us what we've wanted for the past 6 years of torture
The rule changed 2 years ago. We just had only one such situation since then (Germany last year iirc)

Really, instead of these penalties they should have just told Lewis and Giovinazzi to start from the back of the grid

Seeing how dirty the white cars get, I can understand why teams go for darker colors now

"Put fuel in, of course". Wait seriously?! I thought it was just tires or quick bodywork changes (nose) like a normal pit stop
