2027 might be a good bet once Alonso’s contract is up.
I wouldn't rule out Max switching to Hypercar in '27, those cars suit his driving style.

2 laps at least behind the safety car

Now that the track is "green" will they switch to hard tires when the crossover point is reached in about 5 laps?

Announcing a rule change during a race event is a bit odd.
It's not unusual in recent years. I remember 2021 Bahrain when the race director made turn 4 subject to track limits halfway through the race.

Another 15 laps behind the safety car maybe?

3 laps too many and a rolling start to boot

Rolling start. Ok fine, just get on with it.

Anything to shut Martin up at this point.

Is this is going to be another instance of waiting until it's borderline dry before letting them go? It was fine to go after the mandatory 2 laps...
Pinnacle of motorsport right here
For someone who's stated on numerous times how rubbish modern-day F1 is, you sure do love coming back here to have a whinge.

Yes Oscar !!
Lando with wheelspin and a slide out of turn 1 doomed himself.

Slight bobble by Lando... nice pass by Oscar. Keep it clean! 😤

What an overtake by Piastri. Well deserved

McLaren 1 sec quicker in sec 2 than anyone else.

I only tune in for certain tracks now. We'll see how next year is but with how horrible the stewarding is continuing to be I doubt it will improve the on track product much.

Hamilton onboard is great fun. He’s flying through the pack.

Jon Stewart Popcorn GIF

Lewis to slicks.

Piastri pits. Norris doesn’t.
Too close to double stack.

Ah, OK. Lots of people going on slicks. Goooooooo!

Not like that, Charles! 😮 😅

They probably should have double stacked

They probably should have double stacked
Yeah they had 10 secs to Leclerc even if Norris had to wait.

That looked like an unsafe release from Ferrari

Norris going with hards and a 1 stop.

Hamilton made up a lot of ground

Wow, yeah. Lando 7 seconds off Oscar. Maybe should've double stacked.
