His lap is on YouTube, unfortunately they don't allow embedding:

What a smooth lap!

Tiger balm, Nico? Bold. As long as it wasn't the red variant that feels like death. 😅

Hulk out even before the start. Retiring the car.

Welp, there goes Nico...

Wonder if any prangs at T1 will happen

Jesus, Lando... that could've gotten nasty.

edit: Oh! Max giving back position.

Wow. Piastri round the outside of Lesmo. Becoming his signature move.

I mean Lando pushed Max off at T1 and didn't really make the corner himself but because of the crap ahead at the apex rule Max had to give up the place he kept in avoidance. At least it's on the other foot I guess for Verstappen?

This is great for Norris in the championship battle. Piastri stuck behind Leclerc.

Though not so good now. Max with a nice clean pass at T1.

Max gets back around Lando.

Looks like Verstappen is checking out, out of the DRS range.

Piastri into 3rd

Red Bull is 2 seconds up? Wow.

Good to see Lewis making moves.

Hamilton is flying, he's almost caugt up to Leclerc

A bit of a tangent here, but I think it is possible to add the banked curve to a layout at Monza. I don't think you can add that AND the southern curve though.

Unrelated, 5 second penalty to Ocon for forcing someone off track.

They did something like that in the 1930's

The banked portion of Monza is too steep.

A shame because it would be a fun try.
Yeah, but you cant even walk up it.
The banking is like the banking on Test Course from GT1, but without the barrier.
IIRC, some drivers have flown off the banking and been killed.

Hydraulic issue is what forced Nico Hulk to retire.

What Hydraulics are used in an F1 car?
Power steering is one
Brakes, but this would be its own circuit.
Clutch?

38 degrees. Thought it wasn't banked harder than Bristol. I was wrong.

Lawson came to box and has to do 40 laps on the hards?

Ha, that was a pretty funny story about Alonso and Bortoleto. 😅

The pit window opens once the leaders can clear BOR in 7th.

It's a shame how quick the main race is here, maybe they should have brought softer compounds to this race. Or they can do something like Monaco where they ignore the 305km rule specifically for this race.
