If Piastry didn't lose his time, the top 6 would have qualified in exactly the same position that they qualified for the sprint.

Edit: Perez is nearly a second off Max in a car that is over 2 tenths faster than the P2 🤦‍♂️

I believe I heard Bernie say on Sky that PER had no new sets of soft tires for Q3, and would be .9 slower.
 
It seems that Red Bull and Max have found bits of their rocket ship back.
 
I'd like to see them force the teams to use all 3 compounds during a race.

Unless Max is pushing hard to make a gap for a pitstop.

I still find that amusing.

Drivers can stay with in track limits when they get punished with gravel. but when there is no gravel they will complain that it is hard.
