The lights are back on as Formula 1 heads back to its original night-racing venue. The Marina Bay circuit has had a few layout tweaks over the years, but still remains the hardest physical challenge for the drivers all season. A driver's fitness is trained to survive the 2 hours of heat, humidity, bumps, incessant cornering and closeness of walls that is experienced under the floodlights here. Often a sticking-point of a circuit for dominant cars, the layout seems pretty similar to Baku last week, where McLaren were particularly poor, compared to the seeming dominance of the MCL39. Piastri had a race to forget and Norris was unable to capitalise too much, while Max Verstappen's resurgence in the last few races must be starting to worry McLaren a bit. Who can tame the streets as we head to the SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX!
