With F1 night races being a significant portion of the calendar (pre-cancellations of course), it's always nice to come back to the circuit where the phenomenon started. Singapore has also always been the most physically demanding race on the calendar for drivers, with the relentless onslaught of corners and close barriers in the heat and humidity for nearly 2 hours on a quick race being the ultimate test of fitness. Max verstappen took his and Red Bull's first victory of the season last time out in Bahrain in Malaysia with an engine failure for George Russell extending Kimi Antonelli's Championship lead massively. F1 feels like it's in a stuck spot with the title battle and the last two races, not wanting to gift Antonelli the championship by removing 25-50 points from the end of the season (and that is about the only positive way I can spin this situation). Still, we are at Marina Bay. Fingers crossed the software can deal with a slow safety car period in the rain this time as we head to the SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX!
