Anyways, I just came back from the Round 1 of Formula DRIFT 2012 ASIA Pro Championship here in Malaysia today!

It was practice and qualifying today but I didn't take any drift shots though... So wait for me tomorrow! But for now, here are some pics of the cars I took with my crappy camera phone.

Finally, the most epic ride of all, to me at least, is this S15. When all the other cars came out, you can always hear the 'turbo sound'. But when this monster came out, man was the sound awesome, a roaring V8!

Okay! So day 2 is over and man was it exhilarating. I missed the Top 32 round but I made it in time for the Top 16. After a couple of battles in the Top 16, it started to rain!

I didn't take any drifting photos but, luckily there were some professional people(Moto Madness) who did cover the event and posted some quality pictures of the Top 8 on Facebook.

These are two which I took. Daigo Saito's Lexus IS250c against the BMW.

All in all, it was a great event and I'm glad I got to meet Daijiro Yoshihara of Formula Drift USA in person! My life is complete! (He was one of the judges here and he was promoting his new line of illest t-shirts) Don't believe me?

Yeah I know

But as far as drift events are concerned, it is really quit. A couple of years ago we had the benelux championship. But that is no more. It was not as professional as we see on this page, but still good fun to watch.
