It doesn't matter if it doesn't have any effect on you, if you get a black on orange flag shown to you, you HAVE to pit.

Great job from Heidi, nice to see him on the podium again! It appears that Mahindra have finally got their act together.

That wasn't his fault.

Buemi looks like he means business this season. 👍

I guess so. The deadline for reverting to the 2014/5 spec drivetrains was the Donington Park tests - Trulli missed that. The article says they failed scrutineering, so I guess the closest analogy would be Manor at this year's Australian GP.

Bahahaha that race was mental! Leaders in trouble, a last lap crash, electrical glitches and Frijns crabwalking across the line for a podium!

WTF, ITV4 seemed to only show the build up for me, or that's what was recorded.
They split the program into two on the listings to the pre-race and race (probably for viewer convenience to not sit through all of the studio bits). They definitely had the race on because I remember seeing flashes of it between my failed attempts to wake up.

@Jimlaad43 I think they upload the races to their YouTube channel. It might be in the livestream, but YouTube is still processing it when I tried clicking [Play] on the live stream just now.

The mumz had the Putrajaya race on today, and when I went to delete it after it was finished I noticed the program was labeled as "FIA World Endurance Championship." I saw that there was another recording of the same "WEC Putrajaya race," but this time it was just basketball. FOX Sports is really falling all over the place.

Just finished watching the race, absolutely loved it, the last few laps were carnage you didn't know who was going to finish where or at all as around 10 drivers had problems during the race.

Looking at the first race and the opening half of this race it's looking like it's going to be hard to stop Buemi and the E-Dams/Renault team for the championships as they look like the quickest package so far.

For some reason the TV programs switch over at 6am for some reason, I knew the race started at 6am and didn't watch the build up and only recorded the program that started at 6am

It was a really good race, and all it took was another limiting factor alongside battery life! The biggest problem with the series for me is how all of the teams are forced onto the same strategy, with the few able to save enough battery for 1 lap maximum. I know 3 cars is a financial no go, but it would be good to somehow give teams a 5-7 lap window they could feasibly pit in and still get to the finish with the 2 cars they have...

What a race!! That was pure fun to watch 👍 Lots of great overtaking, crazy conditions, it had it all.

In many ways, it was like watching a classic F1 race because it had so many similar elements. Fast cars with reliability issue promote lower placed cars, drivers needing to nurse the cars to survive, degrading track conditions, even a quite severly damaged car limping home to claim a podium spot.

Great circuit too, this should be the standard for Formula E
