It's nothing special but will just give you an idea of how long is left (mainly used in b-spec endurance)

(last lap time in seconds/60)*(total laps - laps completed)

Example

Lap 137/200 with a lap time of 1:33.452

(93.452/60)*(200-137) = 98.1246 minutes remaining at current pace

Just gives a rough idea of how long is left

...then watch one of the pits, determine how long it is taking for the current conditions, and how many are going to be required for the remainder of the race; and factor that in as well. When an accurate estimation of time is concerned, you mustn't forget the pit stops!

Good call, I was only thinking of a rough estimate, but yeah if you want to go for a bit more accuracy why not

I wish I could do what some of y'all can. But alas, I'm not that smart. I do believe this formula will help on any Endurance race besides the 4/9/24 hour races. Those are specific times, and the formula wouldn't be necessary.

It's just how long each lap takes, multiplied by how many laps are left. That's incredibly basic math.

Here's another really useful formula you may not have thought of.

If you're trying to get the full garage trophy and you don't know how many more cars you need, simply subtract the number you do have from 1000 and there's your answer. Simple, when you know how!

Not everyone knows this so no need for the sarcasm.

Or you can always use the formula:
((Total Laps/Laps completed) * Current time elapsed) - Current time elapsed
OR
(Laps Left/Laps Completed) * Time elapsed

Those will figure in pit stop times
