Formula gran turismo vs. Audi R8 race car

I just reached 2 million credits and was wondering if I should buy the R8 race car or if I should wait and get the Formula Gran Turismo.

The R8 Race Car '01? If so, it is a pretty rare car in the UCD. But if you're not aiming toward that perspective and just want a quicker car, then the FGT will provide you that. If you have internet connection, it's always available in the OCD.

Go with the R8. I suspect a seasonal catering for LMP cars isn't too far off. The FGT is always available for purchase and at the moment the only event it can run in with other FGTs is the FGT championship, which is riddled with rubberbanding and low rewards, so it's actually a poorer investment.

FGT, you will need it for aspec and bspec races.( or I would go buy a ferrari for the ferrari seasonal event, grind sarthe @ 503k cr a pop for less than 4 mins, in about 30 mins you can buy all the cars you want.)

U can use FGT for many a spec and b spec like Le mans enduro, like the wind, FGT championship. Using FGT makes b spec less frustrating if u find b spec a hassle. If u have completed all these without problem in both a and b spec, get the r8. It is much rarer n the discount on OCD slightly more. for collectors like myself, I'll get r8 if I dun have it. Already have everything on new OCD except 2. Btw seasonals gives loads of money. Get both so u won't regret.

Get the R8 if you intend to collect all the cars because its rarer but for a useful car and a huge challenge in the online lobbys grab the FGT. Great fun to tame!

Buy both of them, and this shouldn't be a problem thanks to the Ferrari seasonal events.

I recomend you obtaining the Formula GT more than the R8 if you would like to have fun with aggressive chase amongst formula cars in seasonal event, if you wanna "collect" cars in order to try doing something else with them, comparing performance or lap times between the cars at each track, or to list up them in your garage as like historical "ornaments".

And no matter you had already bought either of them and the other one were of your desirable choice, the seasonal events can help you earn money quickly.

Which R8? The '01? The '05? The (crappy) '09?

I have all of them (or did until a recent back-up mistake!) and the R8 '01 is an awesome car, but obviously not as quick as the FGT which is an F1 vehicle.

The R8 isn't bound to stay, given the OCD schedule, so that might be the better buy after all:idea:

The R8 began Audi's recent domination of Le Mans events and is a historic car in its own right. But how are they comparable? One is a prototype sports race car and another is a formula car that sucks at being a formula car. They aren't going to compete evenly in the same events...

I agree with this.but for me it dominated the enduro's with bob at the wheel. Mine looked closer to the 2003 BAR-Honda.

The FGT handles like a formula car should (when you tune it), razor edged, rapid with 100% concentration required!

Buy both. The seasonals well give you plenty of money to get both in a short amount of time.
