Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've been playing GT5. Because I didn't have much time, I've been doing B-Spec lately. Now I'm at level 24 B-Spec and have over 5 million credits to spend. Is it worth buying the FGT and then doing Like the Wind, the FGT championship and last but not least the Dream Car Championship with it? Or should I buy something else like a 908 or R10? How long is it gonna take to get back to around 3 mil, if I buy the FGT? Any more suggestions?

You should buy the FGT.

You will be able to complete A-spec Extreme series and it will helps you a lot in b-spec. The car is also very fun to drive.

Buy the FGT because you will also need it for the FGT series. How long will it take to get back to 3 mil? I don't know but not that long if you grind B-spec, especially remote races.

Send a friend request to GTP_mcfizzle and I will remote race for you.

is the FGT a sure win in B-Spec Like the Wind and Dream Car Champ?

Yes for both, I don't remember having to tune for either except maybe top speed.

is an engine overhaul and chassis rebuild necessary after the purchase?

It doenst change anything for b-spec. I had to spend 1 million on both .. I never did it and the car drive just fine.

For FGT A-spec I have an advice. Put abs at 10 so you can late break other opponents. Also, increase your max speed to 400 km/h, in the straight youll be able to use drifting on other cars and it will be much easier for you to win.

Essential purchase! ... the sooner Bob can get his hands on one the better - he's then free to grind his way to level 35 when you can then use the X1 to grind the rest of the way!

Also use it in the MR Cup and the Japanese event!

Dream car championship earns £86k per race, with a £430k win bonus. To complete the first 4 events takes around an hour (in Red Bull - bit longer in FGT??), you can then start the 5th race and finish as you will have enough points to win the championship

So @ 800k an hour its going to take around 4 hours. But you need the FGT anyway so you might as well get it

Ok, I'm gonna buy the FGT, if it's a sure overkill for B-Spec as you guys said. is there any difference except miles driven and color between the different ones in the UCD?

FGT was one of my best purchases back in the day, but you could probably trade a <1 million car for a level 24 ticket and get a FGT with that.
Just backup before you use the ticket so you can restore incase you get a crappy Ferrari F10 like I did.

just got myself a red FGT, is that a rare color/looked for?
I've been hoping to get the red one, it will match my drivers helmet. My blue one looks cool with my B-Spec drivers blue helmet. :p
