Was really looking forward to this car hoping to use cockpit as it is the only car where this view is practical imo.

Are all the Formula open wheelers like this?

I use the "hood" view on this car (normally use bumper cam) because it is closest to what I used for F1 2010.

Yeah. I knew the standard, premium thing but for some reason I thought it would be different for the open wheelers.
Pity really as I like the lower power Formula cars. Just have to use bumper.

Thanks anyway.

So yeah no cockpit view on a standard, that's a surprise..

but.. the car does seem to take a bit of damage, the rearwing and brake light thing get all bend if you crash.. or is it supposed to be attached in a 45 degree angle to the left?

What's your point? All cars get visibly damaged.

Been changing from bumper to hood/ roof view. Drives real nice.
Maybe a cockpit view will come further down the line. :-)

It's outrageous that the FGT is not a premium car. It's the only Formula car you use in A-Spec. Surely this should have taken priority over some samba bus.

PD has made some baffling choices.

Im sorry i find this

just stupid......does this matter so much it needed a thread? stop posting about every little thing people dislike in gt5...... there are alot more important things IMO that PD could be doing rather than worrying about the fgt's got a cockpit view or not.

EDIT: its not outrageous it really doesn't matter.

I understand that they couldn't make every car a premium car but for Pete's sake at least make the cars that you will require the player to use in A-Spec events all premium. Doesn't that just make sense?

Moreover, there are no formula A-Spec events except for the FGT event. You can't use the F1 or F2007 in other events. So in the one event where you finally get to use a formula car there is no cockpit view.

Yes, it is baffling and outrageous IMO.

Do the event and THEN buy a Ferrari one. I traded up for an F10 and it is seriously good.

I just figured out why the FGT is a standard. It's because they wanted us to hunt for it for weeks in the used car dealer.

I guess at some point late in the stage they realized what a bad idea it was to force people to hunt for this car and they added the online dealership.

Well, at least I understand what they were thinking.

They should rather make the F2007 and F10 usable in offline modes at the very least. locking them out of A and B spec races is just ridiculous. As for the FGT, I don't have too much of a problem with it being standard, since its one of the better looking standard cars. That and I don't really care about the fact it no cockpit view
