The Final Battle

As the second season of Formula GT is about to close out, Two new battles has arisen. As Amemyarz enjoys victory lane for the second time in a row, he has also put himself in a position to possibly dethrone the reigning champion RACECAR. Just like last season's championship battle was epic, this may be just as action packed with the two now in an interesting scenario. If Amemyarz finishes ahead of RACECAR no matter what place he is in, He is the new champion. Likewise, if RACECAR finishes in front of Amemyarz no matter what position, He wins the title for a second time. Neither driver has much to lose and the championship is on the line. Meanwhile, the championship form of The Internet and The arrival of Bri-Y has made the last two races interesting and the two could possibly play spoiler.

However, my qualifying ends there, for I am rerunning the U.S. GP; I only ran 2/3 of the race.

Congratulations on your win, amemyarz. I could only run 27'49'762 in the last race.

 

[NingDynasty]

Shake down day at Mid-Field got in about 20 laps and felt pretty decent near the end. The whole key to this track is nailing that first set of turns, making an apex inbetween and coming out full throttle. It's a bit dicey in that s section if your not on line but all in all it's quite fun blazing through one of the best fictional tracks in the GT Series with this awesome ride.

Got my second chance to get some laps in on the track last night and I'm still fighting with that first section a bit. The tunnel section is where I've picked up a bit of time but it's not a ton of improvement. I was actually a bit slower in the first trap but gained it back and more in the last part of the track.

To be honest, I would've been pretty pissed off had I not taken pole. I threw everything I had into that lap.

As for race pace, I'll wait and see. I don't think I'm going to win but second isn't too big an ask.

I think I'll have more trouble running consistently here then I did at Sears Point! Anyone heard from my teammate this week? Weird that he's a no show when he's contending for the championship. He left that Qualifing point on the table for The Internet to grab. Congrats by the way you guys are a bit quick for me!

He's ill. He says he will try and run the race, but his main concern is RACECAR, who did not take the pole.

I'll never be quick enough, but I have confidence that I can run a consistent race.

P.S.: Do I have 29 points? Or was I disqualified?

I believe there has been a mistake in the points compilation: RACECAR, when tallying the points last round, did not include his second-place finish in the Japanese Grand Prix, therefore he is actually still leading the championship by six points, and six points only. amemya1racing is now second in the Constructor's Championship, passing Ferrari's 37 points with 39, and, assuming I am not disqualified, I have 31 points and placed behind Ferrari in the Constructor's Championship, seperated by six points. Given, it is still possible for amemyarz to pull an upset against RACECAR, while my own chances are terminally miniscule at doing such.

I really like my race pace - a very good two-stop strategy, however the first one was a lap too early and I got caught in traffic. Two or three offs cost me a few seconds (the gravel/sand on the outside of turn one is brutal) but I think my lines and rhythm were good enough for a win.

Means quite a bit if you ask me! But, driving a Formula 1 car is rather difficult at first, however I am sure that you can handle it.

Well ill get some practice in now and again, im not to bad with the F1 but could be better also not used to lapped races just hot laps.

Well I missed the deadline guys... Yesterday was my birthday so we spent the entire day drinking! I'm real slow as it is I can't keep the damn car from spinning! So if racecar would allow me I could run a nice slow race and turn it in today or I can just pack it up and say see ya next year!
