Seems to have a similar concept to New Star GP with the aesthetic and vibe of Circuit Superstars. Those are fine titles to take inspiration from, I look forward to seeing more!
I bought New Star GP a few weeks ago and it's great fun when you just want a quick blast. It doesn't work with my wheels but I can live with that. Hopefully Formula Legends will be as good, if not better.

Looks fantastic to be honest and if somehow has wheel support and differing driver cams I’ll be all over it

Definitely looks promising. I was just tremendously turned off by how bad the person racing the car was. If they don't have anyone on hand who can actually take a decent racing line then this puts things in doubt for me. Maybe it was just some random marketing guy who is bad at its job because they can't fathom that the quality of the driving in their gameplay video could be a factor for potential customers.

Also the steering looked a bit yanky at times but this might be due to the bad driver again.

Don't worry too much about it. It's meant to be B-roll footage, which means they're going to just cut short clips out of it and heavily edit them to showcase certain game facets. Probably 95% of that footage won't actually be seen when the official game trailers are released.

Looks like tons of fun.

Might be asking too much but create a car/team/track/championship would be a nice addition considering the game is not licensed.

Demo now out on Steam

How is it, guys? Also, do you feel it’ll port to Switch well? I don’t get to sit down at my PC too often unfortunately, so the Switch release is what I’m looking forward to.

I played the demo today. Actually quite enjoyed it, it's very clearly a demo but I see the potential in it. Reminds me of New Star Racing on the switch, but with far more potential!

Do you think this will port over to Switch well? Apparently it’s supposed to be on Switch 1.

I sold my Xbox two years ago when I got the pc so I don't have any controller now. Is the PS5 controller better than the Xbox one?
In my opinion the ps5 controller is the better of the two, but getting it to work on steam is a faff involving a couple of workaround programmes to get it to register as an xbox controller. Unless anyone else knows differently to me? And I wasn't 100% sure it's safe to use so I didn't download on my new laptop.

Personally now I use a generic controller I bought off amazon (GameSir Nova Lite). Its great for non racing games tbf. It's just the xbox configuration that kills me when trying to steer! And the triggers aren't as good as the ps5

So steam will recognize a Xbox controller with no problems? That's what I used for Circuit Superstars.
