New engines, new rules, new drivers and new pairings.

My first sub-topic has to be the V6 turbocharged engines and their lack of speed. Is it really what fans want to see? slower lap times and lower rpms? All these things can either make things boring to watch if you are expecting the pinnacle of motorsport, or it may make sense if you agree that F1 should be realistic in terms of development into more efficient engine designs with electric boost power.
I think it should be the loud and fast and exciting, not conservative and efficient; we get that in the real world already, weather we like it or not.

Well we don''t know how exciting it's going to be yet because nothing has been raced yet. For all we know the new regulations may pack the field closer, make it easier to follow other cars, easier to overtake etc. Could a dam site more exciting than the borefest of the past few seasons.

There is already a thread for discussing the technical changes. Likewise, there is a thread for talking about testing. As for the races, we usually have one thread for each race.

my two cents: as a new member it is hard and time consuming to look through 8 or more pages of posts within the motorsport topic, which is quite large, when I would like to make a comment on F1 only on this particular moment. I did look at existing topics, and stopped at page 5... just took too long. Maybe it is just me and you all have tons of hours and free time.
Just an idea/ suggestion ... :)
