With the Daytona 500 round the corner, the F1 season kicking off, and the absence of any leagues for the Red Bull X1 / X2010, how about a 99 lap (247.5 mile) race at Daytona next weekend exclusively for the X1?

Damage full, Real grip reduction, and tyre/fuel wear would make this a race for real pro's. I see so many people online who have X1's but just hopelessly crash them all the time. This is a race for proper drivers, not people who wreck for kicks...

OFFICIAL RACE RULES:

Daytona Superspeedway
100 Laps (250 Miles)
Damage Full
Realistic Tyre Wear
Realistic Fuel Use
Realistic Grip Reduction
Rolling Start (TBC which type)


~No driving below the yellow line if possible.
~No wrecking for kicks
~No reckless chopping or overtaking in the early stages... This is a 100 Lap Endurance Race, not 10-lap sprint.

edit: got my X1 Whee!!

I'm hopefully joining soon for practise session depends on when TV is mine again

Wouldn't 100 laps (2.49. miles) make more sense?

I like the idea. When are you planning on running it? And what will the boost be set to?
 
I'm in if you restrict what X1's that wil be alowed. Since the S.Vettel has a slight higher top speed than the rest.
 
I'm interested :) i'll use the X2010 you can get from the new dealership
 
I'll do it but I need a time and day (U.S. central time, Chicago). No boost either, I hate it because it makes people drive crazy + its unrealistic.

The carbon just drafts off the Vettel's and X2010s and drives the same. lol
 
I'm in depending what day and time it happens.
 
Next Saturday around 7pm - 8pm GMT is my current plan. Currently finalising details for the race - will update soon.

And btw, all X1's are equal in top speed as long as the gearrationa and downforce is the same. On the prototype and the "normal" version you can adjust the gear ratio. But not on the wettel one.

Few rules and advice for people.

No idiotic moves on Lap 1. It's 100 Laps, and a brush against a wall could cost the race by breaking the suspension. WATCH IT!!!

Find your Partner and Slipstream! The X1 gains around 25mph in the draft / slipstream.
