Trying to get more speed and control out of my x1. Til now the 500kmt seems like a good ratio.

But the car is oversteered at high speeds, so i changed the front toe to +0.05 and rear to +0.30. Feels alot better already, maybe some lesser bound/rebound can help wit some high speed stability.

Also the camber doesnt need to be as much as the stock setting, or atleast i don't think so.

Im caling it a night now, but i wil continue tweaking the x1 tomorow, maybe it wil be easier to drive @ daytona. Its stil overstering so im thinking of adjusting spring rate and downforce to compensate.

If anyone want to help with this you have my findings so far=)

Join the room then. Thats the point of this session - to find set-ups and test the car

We had a good practice session, thanks for that :)

No problem.

Just a few notes though...

The X1 appears to be able to do around 25 laps on a tank of fuel. This obviously makes it interesting in a 100 lap race, as you could run out of fuel. Soft tyres last some time as well, around 30 laps my estimate.

Final note and reminder - NO PASSING BELOW THE YELLOW LINE!!!

*And it's full damage so race carefully...*

Tomorrow, 7pm GMT, my lounge... race start 8pm GMT - hope to see you there!

Yep, so tactiful pitting will be required. It'll certainly be interesting.

Sorry guys, I'm not gonna be able to make it. Goin' to hunt some wild boars. Hopefully next time. :D

You can adjust oversteer easily with Anti-roll bars. The higher the lesser.
There's no wings needed for Daytona and you will only lose max speed.
Did you try adjusting new steering sensitivity value. -1 makes movement little smoother.

Yesterdays practise session showed that it's quite hard to do decent overtaking. Mainly because the track is a bit too narrow in curves. So I'd suggest that go overtaking only on straights if you wanna play safe.

Dunno about you, but I think single file running for the first 50+ laps would be good, justs string out and see who's got a good-handling car, and who's not.

Race actual start is 8pm GMT - Lounge open 7pm for Qualifying...

Working on a prize but may have to wait... people aren't very generous...

I'll throw a prize car of some kind to the winner.

We're all waiting - 5 in so far, 11 spots left! Race start 42 minutes!

10 minutes!!! Luck to all - NASCAR of your choice is the winning prize!

Sorry I left. I was supposed to watch a movie and forgot about it. That wasn't much good anyways.

Yeah everything happened an hour early not sure why. Good race though. I would do another with you guys but I have some errands to do before the SCANA event tonight.

Well done to FallenMessiah, who wins a #14 Tony Stewart Chevrolet Impala NASCAR for his efforts!

Also apologies for my time errors. My mistake, and I sincerly apologise.

I'll settle for winning the 1-lap Red Bull Lagfest Shootout. :)
