Looking over the forums today I have noticed how the times seem to be really odd. Well, they are incorrect for me. I have just written a reply to a post in the black ops thread and it says it was posted at around 8am when it is 9am at the moment.

I went into the options page and double checked it still said GMT +10, which it does. What has made it change overnight, I know we don't have daylight savings in a effect here in Queensland?

Perhaps wherever the server is based still rolls back all times?

The time changes at 2am tonight (or last night for Australia, etc.) and rolls back to 1am, thus your one hour difference. Also, did you change this option:
In addition, you may set the appropriate option to allow for daylight savings time in your part of the world.
I'm guessing the default is Automatically detect... perhaps always on or always off will work better?

Daylight savings doesn't end here for a long time.

Edit: And yeah mine's out by an hour too.

I raised a similar issue this time last year - at this point in the year New Zealand is GMT+13 (NZDT = UTC+13), and regardless of DST setting the forum is always an hour behind. Normally I'd compensate by selecting a +13 zone (which some forum software lets you do), but GTP doesn't have the +13 option, only the +12 zone which I'm in for most of the year.

At least you Australians can simply select +11 (or +9/+10 depending on the timezone) until the server adjusts UTC... us Kiwis can't :(

I have tried it and it hasn't worked.

Day Light Savings time! GT its only 11:51PM and you posted that at 12:50 AM

Yeah well whoever thought of this was an idiot. Gets me all confused. If I'm not in school Monday, all y'all know why!

Yep, because the US moved their clocks an hour forward or whatever, so the server time went forward by an hour as well. Correct time here too now :)

Just for the record, the clocks go forward Sunday 27th 1am - to 2am - in the UK.
(although our time is currently correct with server time) :)
