How after an hour of driving can you not figure out the track Haha... Game looked good though..

A rather short segment, but the active aero put quite the smile on my face (finally). :D

I'm watching it right now, I wonder if they guys would have done better with controllers as opposed to the Microsoft wheel... lol... Either way, this was a cool segment and gives us a sneak peek of what to expect next month 👍

Must see clips too. Anyone?

Duh nevermimd. I dvr the show lol.

Yay, more gameplay footage ^^

Anyone else notice a lot more motion blur? :D

And there was no damage.

I now have more respect for the LFA OMG.

They probably had it set to no damage. After all, they were driving with auto-brake, TCS, driving line, and every other aid in the game.

Game looks great though.

The show was quite...lame, basically they have no chance in beating tanner's time. :p

I see I'm not missing anything with the US version of TG, how many advert breaks did they fit in 15mins??? I counted at least 2. That must be hugely irritating. The presenters are quite annoying too.

The game looks good, I must admit not much better than FM3, but I did just watch that on my IPod. Will reserve judgement till I see it on my own screen.

Reminds me of the UK version when JC drove the NSX at Laguna IRL, then tried to repeat it in GT4.

Foust: "Have you ever even played this game before?"
Dude, no one has played this game before!

At least in the US, we get the same number of commercial in Top Gear UK (as well as the Car Show).

Game looks great, problem understeer.

Maybe is because they're playing with assists on, but it looks like FM3 understeer over again.

Understeer and oversteer issues have been resolved, as mentioned by Dan. Hopefully we get a patch addressing that in another game as well.

There are no commercials in the the UK top gear BTW.
Not that it matters.

As for under steer. Did you see how fast they were going into the corners?

Forza has understeer problems? I actually thought some cars rotate by itself way too easily, especially the hot hatches. And going by how they drive, I doubt you can draw much conclusion with the physics from that video. :D

They used all the assists and still were ****tty times.

US TG sucks.
Tanner needs better cohosts.

How can you comment on under/oversteer from this footage? Lol.

Why don't you wait to comment on anything regarding physics until you have played it.

Did you see the way Adam Ferrara crashed that LFA? It looked kinda cheesy but way better than GT5.

The video basically shows how the real LFA oversteers all over the place.

Check 7:20 onwards, the cars kicks thee back less aggressively than the real thing, they have assist on, but there is the understeer.

And the car seems to be floating at times, not in jumps obviously.

So Forza only has the American Top Gear License?

No, they will only be featuring the UK version in the game(At least as far as they've shown).

On the show they raced at Infineon.

It matters to me, I hate being interrupted whilst watching tv to be told I need longer eye lashes or that I should sue someone because I had an accident. Thank goodness the BBC is publicly funded!

With regards to the understeer, I imaging that may be due to assists. TCS etc would reduce power and the tendency to overseer. They even comment on this in the video.

I am guessing you meant to quote this:

Again they had on all of the assists, which most likely includes steering assists that accounts for any understeer that you THINK you see. Kicks the back out less aggressively? How you are able to tell precisely how the in game vehicle is responding with out seeing the exact input of the driver is beyond me (Not to mention you kind of made your own point irrelevant when you said "they have the assist on").

Regardless, since you haven't played that game yet, why don't you wait to comment on physics until you have. Watching something and experiencing something are completely different.

By the way, Foust is a drifter. He was even trying to slide the tail end around, which he even said several times. Racing against a bunch of "noobs" on unreleased Forza 4 with all aids on kind of accounts for the aggressive nature of "the real thing" vs the understeer of the in game LFA.

But you will continue to argue your point just like you did with the whole CGI thing in Autovista against mounds of evidence to the contrary. If you reply, don't expect one from me.

I've never seen any of TopGear USA before and I have to say after that I don't want to see any again.

I'm glad the real car was alot faster than that guys lap though, it means you should have to really push hard in the game to repliacte a good real life time.

No and no.

These two guys are complete idiots in my book, they didn't take the competition serious at all, so their times are not even close to being representative.
