dude get the wheel. No point getting another game just so you can bum through a two racings game with another controller.

I am by no means a noob with the ds3. I was only about a second or so slower than the winner of the first GT Academy time trial with the ds3.

I got used to my DFGT at my friends place cos he's got a good set up and now I am horrible with the ds3. I can still win A spec events but trying to be competitive online or time trial, forget it. I don't know how I managed in the past.

Still dont have a place to put my DFGT at home so I use the ds3. I don't even enjoy thee game much because of it.
👍
Dfgt is awesome for gt5, i love it still after a year..
👍

I couldn't agree more.

Not true according to Fanatec...FYI.
Yup. The GT2 and the new CSR wheel are the ones that are usable for 360/PS3/PC games.

The wheel is the better investment.

Got the DFGT a couple months ago. It's a great wheel and gives you by far the best bang for your buck. Takes a day or two to perfect the settings but assuming you can drive a car it is simple to get used to.

As for Forza or a wheel. Get the wheel. I won't even play a racing game without one it makes such a difference. Plus you can probably pick up Forza in a few months at a discount. Something to keep in min is that the DFGT only works on PS3. As mentioned already, some Fanatec wheels work on both but I'm guessing if you have a dilemma about buying a game or DFGT this isn't really an option as Fanatec wheels are pricey.

I would get DFGT or wait for a deal and get Forza 4 with an Xbox wheel bundle. It's not really racing if you aren't using a wheel.

I can never go back "full-time" with a controller. I won't get FM4 unless I can get a wheel for it. Can't afford a wheel that costs as much as a system so there isn't a chance. Oh wells lol. Seriously, it's a bummer because I like a lot of the tracks/cars FM has.
