Doesn't matter, because the Ferraris in Forza 3 are modeled like s**t. ;)
 
They trumpeted about a track that was in GT4 - fair enough?!

Why didn't you mention Ferrari Challenge who has much more ?are you trying to trigger a fanboy wars or something ?

You needn't worry and you can count on the 458 Italia to be part of the car line-up at launch ;)

Oh and last but not least : the game has an exclusive model that the other will not ever get : F1 2007 !!!

i think it doesnt really matter , we will definitley get higher quality ferraris thats for sure, and i expect the f50,360,f458 to be there along with maybe some sucederias (prehaps the last one is wishful thinking)
 
the above pics look very plastic to me imo. Never liked how they detail their cars too be honest. I think we wont get as many Ferrari's too be honest but we'll get the best ones, 458, 599XX etc...

Yeah, you'd have to travel pretty fan into "crazy psycho fanboy land" to look at hose models and not be impressed.

I'm not saying GT 5 doesn't have better graphics, because it DOES.

I'm saying those graphics are very impressive and extremely comparable to GT 5.

The fact that ALL those Ferraris can be customized to infinity AND all have damage modeling I also find quite impressive. Any sane person would.

Never mind, this thread is not neccessary, its FM3 news, no one can say how many Ferraris will be in GT5, so i care? Not really.

Nowadays what is impressive in a racing game when it comes to graphic isn't really the polycount or the modelisation (almost every racing-games developpers nailed it) :

It's the overall look,the realistic touch that Forza 3 does not have and that makes you wonder "Is this a real shot ?" ;)

Forza 3 is very likely to have a higher polycount than GT5 (compare the wheels : they're perfectly round in Forza 3 but not in GT5) but it's less impressive !

I touch the brightnes and contrast with Photoshop (you can do in game in your TV, i supose) and look:

I just have no problem giving credit where credit is due.

I think those Forza models look amazing.

Yes, GT 5 DOES look better but if you're going to talk about "what's impressive in a racing game" I would say it's more impressive that ALL those Forza models have damage modeling and look 95% as good as the ones in GT 5.

I was not expecting Forza 3 to look THAT good, especially after the lackluster graphics of Forza 2.
 
I honestly wasn't trying to start a fan war by posting this and I thought I would post up in the GT5 as its the direct competitor and we finally have ferrari.

I thought that people might be interested.

To be honest I think both games look pretty great. As someone who loves cars I think both games look like they have a lot to offer.

They do look plastic in those pictures.

And this F430 (upper) is completely out of shape compared to the GT5P one (bottom):

Those GT 5 pics look Fantastic, no doubt about that. The lighting is PERFECT.

But the lighting is also excellent in this pic. The reflections look just right.

Haha, only the bottom pic is GT5, the upper one is FM3 but I guess you didn't notice how screwed the car model was.

Gran Turismo looks better, hands down. Enough comparing the two. :lol:

I couldn't care less if Forza will have more Ferraris than Gran Turismo, but that's me.
 
I don't mean to belittle T10 & FM3, but that blue/white Ferrari looks like it had an artificial glaze for lighting effects.No doubt the game looks good for a non BR based game, but hasn't matched GT5P.
 
What is the point of this thread? Its just going to start a flame war, who cares if Forza has 29 Ferrari's that can be damaged, its a Gran Turismo forum, not a Forza one.
