I tried the Nord Gray from sheet other day and it really needs a rework. One in Forza have yellowish look while the GT Sport and real one looks more from light green hue side.

Also Brooklands Green looks like Hot Wheels chroma paint then the original Charlotte/Brooklands i suppose.

The trouble with this is the fact that it's done under shop lighting which never works out well. (as Madarax and JaCor will say)

Yes, the paints here aren't 100% accurate all of the time, but they're pretty damn close.

Usually when paints are replicated here in this thread, they're done in outdoor lighting - it's much more accurate to have natural lighting on it.

If we used your paint code and used it outdoors - this is the result.

And, this is me playing around with it for about 25 minutes (although to be honest, I think I would have gone a little further and kept playing around with it)

With a good reference photo (scroll back a few pages to give you an idea on what is a good one to use when replicating) and some trial and error and some playing around, results end up much better.

If you will have some free time in future can you please try to redo the Nord Gray and Brooklands/Charlotte for both NSX? Thanks and Happy Holidays to you all 🎄🎄

That's really a question for Madarax and JaCor as well as Mitcho, who incidentally are more than likely on holiday - and I'd like to refrain from stepping on their toes.

I do make the occasional color for myself and share it, but this is still their chart.

Merry Christmas first and foremost! :) would somebody be able to recreate this lovely grey-blue from Ferrari? I just can’t get the colour down. It’s Grigio Cangiante
I'll see what I can do.

Grigio Cangiante - SlowJournalist vers. - Requested by @Bigtaylorrr

Author's note: There were only 3 Ferraris (reportedly) that had this color. I had to work with what I had, so forgive me if it's inaccurate.

Lowlight: 0.62 L, 0.63 R, 0.61 L

You’re comparing two different games with two different graphics engines. A color in GT Sport or GT 7 won’t look the same in Forza Horizon 5. Also, I don’t know how many times I’ve said this but it’s a game so it won’t be a 1:1 recreation of the colors. We do the best we can here.

It’s already on the chart. Do any of you actually look at the chart before making these requests? This is very annoying so please check the chart. @JaCor653 did this and other Lamborghini colors a long time ago. Also, all those BMW and Porsche and other manufacturer individual colors are actually colors from other manufacturers and they’re also on the chart. You keep requesting colors that we’ve already done a long time ago.

Look i don't want to sound like ungrateful bastard or childish person but even the real one doesn't look anything like the one on spreadsheet by miles. I get it the lighting makes everything look kinda off and i respect the amount of hours and free time you and many others personally put into this thread and the spreadsheet but does it really hurt for someone who has skills to pull this off to recreate these two colors a more accurate or i'll just get more replies of "do it yourself if your not happy" type.

I wasn’t the one that originally did them. That being said, I could redo them if I find the time. I’ve been busy with other things so I haven’t really had the time to do color stuff.

By the way, that second picture you posted isn’t a good reference for the color because that’s an artist’s rendition of it. Notice how the color looks different in the actual photos of it. Using artistic versions of car colors isn’t a good idea because they’ll look very different compared to what you see in person.

I edited the rendition out of my original reply but i mostly tried to attach pictures with harsh or bad lighting to prove that there is more of light greenish in Nord Gray rather than yellow which is present on the sheet one.

I'll be really thankful if you could redo those two colors in your free time sometimes as i would love to rock these in Horizon 5 and I have big respect for OP and all of color makers who helped created this thread and sheet

So... small question.

I decided to try the Orange Cayenne Nacre from the spreadsheet to emulate how the 2009 Megane Coupe (non/pre-RS) was often found on contemporary press photos. Is it actually supposed to be this dark? Or am I missing something?

This is how it's supposed to look like in comparsion:

I’m the one that made that color. If everyone keeps nitpicking stuff like this I just won’t do colors anymore. It’s getting very frustrating and tiresome. I’ve also been saying you won’t get a 1:1 representation of the colors in game because the games graphics are completely different from real life. Please stop expecting this or expecting perfection.

I never expected perfection, nor was it my intention to be a nitpicky snob - I get why it looks different now, so I won't ask in the future. I can see how getting spammed with the same question over and over would be annoying, and I'm sorry if mine was the same.

Thank you for understanding :) I’m sorry if I sounded snappy. It happens a lot and I have to keep explaining that the game and real life are very different so it’s hard to get a 100% accurate representation but we do the best we can. It does get frustrating when the same things are requested or asked over and over :( Not your fault, though :)
