I'm betting on a 3-6 month gap between launch and PS release. Also, this quote:

Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are also working together to bring Forza Horizon 6 to PlayStation 5 post-launch.

That to me pretty much confirms that FM is on the back burner for an indefinite period.

I honestly wasn't expecting a new Forza game to come out that "soon" after Microsoft kicked half of the Turn10 and Playground Games staff.
I hope they will do something to make it feel fresh again and not just "drive there to do race, good now drive here to do next race, great you completed the series now start a new one".

Considering the final shot rising over the river looks like the area beyond Fujimi Kaido's start/finish area, I suspect we've been testing that small part of the map since May.

They are references to past cars, characters and locations in the series.

Cen12 is centernario v12

AV10 LMB is Huracan V10

4S keira is 4 season Keira?? for FH4?

The japanese num plate says Legend

RMH1 is Rossmore House? where PGG is based


Not sure what the MI-113-ER is.

There are 2 FLYNT num plates referencing Darius Flynt

Yeah I agree, ever since FH3 those reveal trailers have been top notch! While I’m thrilled FH6 Japan is announced, I can’t help but be disappointed by the lack of stuff shown here.

Aah well, plenty of stuff to keep me busy with Diablo season 10 and soon the reveal of The Crew Year 3. I’m hoping for another Hawaiian island added there. And then there’s GT7 Spec III for December as well. 😎

Really, why be like that? Im sure many saw Japan coming from a mile away as it was the most requested next location for a Horizon game and TONS of car culture and history there. Where else would we expect the game setting to be being 6 games in....?

This just feels very contrarian. Regardless of what the “JDM mob” thinks, Japan makes perfect sense for a Horizon title.

by the way, some japanese players say that the lake in the teaser is actually lake Kawaguchi in Yamanashi, this lake is really geographically close from Tokyo Bay Area so maybe it will have part of tokyo after all, maybe...

in fact, some people that never played horizon before and arent aware of the lore thogout the mention of "レジェンド" instead of "伝説" was a mistype of the studio when its the short name of generic name of game character "ホライズン・レジェンド''

I loved 3 and 4 but bounced off 5 quick. They really made Mexico (a country I lived in for a few years and really love) seem super bland.

Hoping the series bounces back, and really hoping for a dense Tokyo section with good street racing. That would get me back in much more than stunt gimmicks off mt Fuji.
