This customization for Garage/Eventlab stuff seems pretty exciting to me, but then again things like extremely versatile race/trackbuilding setups and personalized homespace customization are being treated as letdowns by people who apparently wanted more car customization instead. You can't please everyone, I guess, but the unpleased people like to post more.

It looks like the Porsche 959 and Mitsubishi Evo III are 2 of the 9 treasure cars, judging by those achievement pictures.

Does anyone have all the achievement pics? Can't seem to view them on the Xbox app, TrueAchievements or even XboxAchievements.
They're either locked or thumbnail sized.

You have to view them via the console! Just go to the game's GameHub.

It sounds like 9 treasure cars is the achievement but not the full number (we had 14-15 I think in the past couple of games)
We never had Treasure Cars before. You're probably mixing it up with Barn Finds, which are still in the game , but Treasure Cars are a new collectible category!

Q: Have you introduced any new ways of obtaining cars in Forza Horizon 6 outside of the Autoshow and Barn Finds?

Yes! Keep your eyes open while you're driving around Japan, as in addition to Barn Finds, you might spot a potentially rare Aftermarket Car or receive a clue for an abandoned Treasure Car.

Q: What are Aftermarket Cars and how can they be discovered?

Parked around Japan are Aftermarket Cars, which you can test drive or add to your collection. Some of these can be found near the Horizon Festival, while others require you to drive through the many regions of Japan with a sharp eye.

Aftermarket Cars that match a Festival Race's campaign restriction can often be found to purchase nearby, so keep an eye on the map for the icon when approaching a race. Others will be located near Time Attack Circuits, fitted with modifications ideal for a track day.

These cars are typically offered at a discount, and they include some extremely rare and unique models to show off in your garage. For car collectors, they'll be a must-have.

Q: What are some examples of Aftermarket Cars in Forza Horizon 6?

Some of the Aftermarket Cars you might encounter on your travels include the 2003 Honda S2000 featuring a Rocket Bunny body kit, the 1993 Autozam AZ-1 upgraded with Mazdaspeed parts, and the 2015 McLaren 570S Coupe equipped with Duke Dynamics modifications.

Q: What are Treasure Cars and how can they be found?

As you explore Japan, your friend and experienced Japanese car builder Mei will be in touch about some brilliant, yet abandoned cars with photograph clues to help you locate them. We call these Treasure Cars, inspired by the many iconic Japanese cars that have been left abandoned. They are found purely by exploring the map, and you’ll need to use the photo provided to figure out exactly where these cars are. When you find a Treasure Car, you can restore it and drive it immediately or choose to add it to your garage.

Q: What are some examples of Treasure Cars in Forza Horizon 6?

A few of the Treasure Cars you can expect to salvage include the 1991 Nissan Figaro, 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo and 1969 Dodge Charger R/T.

Q: How will Barn Finds be unlocked in Forza Horizon 6?

In addition to Aftermarket Cars and Treasure Cars, Barn Finds also make their return, with clues for these rustic cars given to you as you collect Stamps for your Collection Journal.

I'm loving the inclusion of all the time attack cars seeing as though Japan is its spiritual home.

Trying not to watch too much of the preview footage but I'm excited and I want to know more and more about the game but at the same time leave some mystery for when I actually play the game haha. The eternal struggle continues.

Looking at the achievements list,I dont see one for smashing fast travel boards.I see the bonus board achievement so it might be with that one.Does anybody know if fast travel a thing to unlock by smashing the boards or just available from the get go? Finding and smashing the boards was a nice way away from racing to unlock the full map.

As I understand it you'll be able to fast travel to anywhere you've already been on the map. No board smashing required.

I personally think garage customization is great and is something the Horizon series has been in need of for a while. But, I would've liked to have seen this in conjunction with some more aesthetic mods. The fact, for example, that an S13 Silvia has no licensed body kits outside of the same Rocket Bunny widebody is a massive letdown. I'll still buy the game and enjoy it, but I was really hoping for more in terms of aero options. After all, it is set in what myself and many others consider the epicenter of car culture. I just really hope they fix it with some post-launch content.

The garage customization is a great addition to the series and something I'm very much looking forward to.

As for the Silva I agree I was hoping it would have some new parts to go along with the new model here is hoping they add new bits to other cars they have rescanned like the Evo 6 TME and the R34 but only time will tell.

I also dont see the Treasure Map Add On available yet for those who want to buy it.

They’ve had one for every previous game. While that’s no guarantee there will be one in this game, I feel confident they will. Mostly because I don’t see them dropping that revenue stream.
I have never picked it up before, because I enjoy the exploration. I have a feeling that we are going to get a lot more car packs this time, because they started pushing them heavily in Horizon 5.
