I'm quite bummed that the Jaguar XJ13 and the Mitsubishi FTO are left out. Hopefully they'll return in the future.

Having just one Holden is a bit....Off. But, nothing you can do. The game looks good nontheless. I hope everyone has a great time playing the game! (And also, please anyone make a list of exclusive cars in the future from the playlist so people know).

Tried out the new feedback portal. It’s a little clunky (not surprised, it’s running on JIRA) but I ported over some suggestions from the old forums that I’ve been after for a while. Chuck some votes on them if you want:

Vinyl Groups - Add ability to sort files alphabetically

Setting to share Vinyl Groups as “Open Source”

Download tuning setups directly from Rivals Leaderboards

As well as any new Jags (F-Type, XKR, XE...), the newest one is the C-X75 - all others are from the past century. Aussie cars have also been downsized: just two Falcons (the XB and the FG, but just the Ute, not the GT F 351), the HSV Gen-F Commodore (both the sedan and the ute here) and the Torana. Not even the Sandman made the cut :(

Regarding other missing cars, it feels weird that the Mazda 323 GT-R and the Toyota Mark II are also left out of the starting roster. They could have even brought the Honda Odyssey from FM7 back...

I hope they bring back the DBS, DB9, Vanquish, Vantage and the Rapide.
Agreed, especially the DBS! It’s terrible that they cut so many cars from the 2000s and early 2010s, arguably the greatest era for cars.

Seriously, where is the SLS AMG for example? Waiting to be added back via Playlist together with the new AMG GT 63S is my guess…

well at least they patched out that weird texture sticking out of the door of the DBS a month after they brought it into 5..

i'd love the Virage from FH1 to return

Has there been any updates on if the PS5 version is still coming out this year?

Also, has there been any confirmation if it'll be a digital exclusive, like with FH5?
No updates on the PS5 version. Logically I think they either release it around Christmas time or maybe around May of next year. Mind you this is my own speculation and not anything I have seen or read. There have been no confirmation on whether or not there will be a physical version

All you guys are acting like this game won't have monthly DLC for the next 3 years at least.
You know this game is not going to sell well and PG games will shut down so all of these missing cars are gone forever. :D j/k I think thy will probably follow Milestone's lead take cars out that came the past game and use them as DLC.

The 2020 Nismo GTR has a 4.0 litre V8 TT making 700hp as an option, still working out as to what it’s from though.

My first thought was the AMG GT Black Series, but that’s at 720hp, the Toyota GR GT also has that engine, but it’s hybrid assisted and only makes 641hp. 🧐

Quoting myself on this old mystery, it appears that 4.0 V8 TT swap IS from the Toyota GR GT, appears that the Prototype version is at 700hp according to a screenshot I saw of the GR GT. 🙂

Aston Martin just didn’t make any cars between 1964 and 2016 according to PG :odd:
To be honest, there aren't many cars from 2025 at all in the car list, which is baffling to me. I don't mind the older cars, most of the time I like them better, but I would expect several more current cars than the game is launching with.

Not DLC, but additions through the playlist. Once the car pass and expansions are done, there may be one or two paid DLC packs after that if FH5 is anything to go on.

Wasn't this exclusive to Sony or playstation for helping create it?
That was the R35 GT-R, and as we know, it was also included in the Forza versions of the car. For me, the puzzling question is why PG seems to not know how to code the clocks to display the actual time...or maybe every time you use a car has been stored for months, lost the memory, and started at 12:00 by default...

Especially the 2012 Vanquish. I much prefer that design over the 2017 Vanquish Zagato.

Me too! Gosh, the 2012 Vanquish in that gorgeous baby blue like the one from the Top Gear West Coast road trip is easily a top 5 best looking car of all time, I want it back so bad :drool:

Tbh, since the X1 generation, new games have been launching with less and less current cars, with the latest ones always ending up as car pass, playlist or car pack additions.

My guess is this is because of the increased time it takes to model a car, especially with full Forzavista for it, but I really wish we got cars quicker like in the 360 generation.

I was a bit disappointed that the Flugplatz Blue paint colour wasn't a manufacturer colour option in FH4, so I recreated it myself.

@Vic Reign93
Nick from AR12 did a whole video about the GR GT if you want to know more about it and its engine. It's the full game in performance mode on XSX.

@keirsmcq
Correct, we're now officially just a few hours (20 hours and 32 minutes to be precise) away from the New Zeeland release. I'm at the airport now and I'm seeing quite a few faces here that I recognize 😂

Here's how you can join this lil' travel party that is New Zealand-bound 😉
