My own deep seated need for wheelspin exclusives has been partially sated for today after wiping out half my cash buying out auctions for this 1960 Corvette and Koenigseggisseggggnignigsegigiseggnigseggniggsegg One:1. I'm poor but happy.

Nice auction house wins. I was saving up to get the Ferrari FXX, but I found a Hennessy F5 as an Aftermarket car at that triple spot by the stadium. I couldn’t say no to 25% off a car I didn’t have yet. [Here is the place where I’d share a picture of it, but the power is out, so no photo. ¯\(ツ)/¯ ]

Hopefully, series 3 will have slightly more exciting vehicles. Not that series 2 was really bad but it just felt a little less exciting. Getting the Italian Exotics pack will certainly bolster any additional playlist rewards.
Yeah here's hoping it will. Agreed. Exactly 😀.

Execpt for 964, Rallye Golf and the RAM SRT10, the Season II was a Filler for my taste.
Italian Exotic can meaning a lot of good things, some (obiviosuly) returns and might some surprises too (why i'm thinking about a Panda 4x4?)

(I'm quite fond about british humour)
Thank you. We really need it at the moment.

Reciprocally speaking, I'm a great fan of your music (with Italo house and the works of Gioachino Rossini being particular favourites of mine) and of your superior cuisine, not to mention classic car design houses like Pininfarina and Bertone.

Let's hear it for international unity! (Something I wish my goofy-ahh country would get its act together about for once.)

What's yall's favorite sounding car? I love how aggressive some of the Honda's sound with the right intake and exhaust.
I know it's kind of a basic/gimme answer but this game really does remind me that rotary engines sound all kinds of gnarly. Doesn't matter if it's the RX-3 or the 787B, I'm all about the noisy Dorito.

Hope it's not a Panda (with all due respect 🤣) I know it's a classic but would rather see something like a Lancia Thema 8.32, Alfa 75 Turbo Evoluzione or Alfa SZ Zagato 😍

I know I have specific issues with the Playlist and lack of 'new' ideas, but by crikey, when you find the right car and it makes a sound as good as this does with the Sport air intake, you can't help but be pulled in again. The bark at one end and the distinctive metallic rasp at the other does a good stand-in for the real CSL.

Thanks for the ace music selection with an Italian band covering a classic British movie theme. As a coincidence, I posted this British band covering a great Italian movie theme on YouTube for the What are you listening to? (V) thread the other day.

Seriously, I hope you can fix your international unity problem. I have a feeling the people of the entire world will be behind you if you do.

To everyone else, sorry for the non-car diversion. Despite what a couple of posters here say, I'm firmly of the belief that music can play a large part of the Horizon experience, especially when I'm one and three-quarter laps into a Goliath Rivals run and my concentration starts to flag.

I mean, IIRC they did come out and say any pre-announced PS5 ports (like FH6 and Halo: Campaign Evolved) would be honored. They could only justify what they did with Gears of War: E-Day because the PS5 version wasn't already announced.
So let's hope they finish the PS5 version before GTA 6 launches. Otherwise, it might get delayed to Christmas, or even 2027.November is impossible because nearly every game this year is avoiding GTA 6. Even the PC and Xbox releases were moved up to May, instead of the horizon's usual September-to-November window.

I mean, to me, the Panda 4x4 doesn't count as an 'exotic', but I wouldn't be surprised if it pops up in the Car Pass somewhere--especially if the Car Pass cars are themed after the Series they show up in.

That being said, folks here have pointed out that the Maranello got a new model, and now I'm like "...yeah that would line up perfectly with the update wouldn't it", so final Series 3 prediction is as follows:

Series Rewards: Ferrari Daytona SP3 (New-to-Forza, 80 points), Lamborghini Reventon (Returning, 160 points)
Summer: Ferrari 575 Maranello ('New-to-Forza', 20 points), Maserati GranTurismo (Returning, 40 points)
Autumn: Ferrari Luce (New-to-Forza, 20 points--I still stand by this because it just would not surprise me), Italdesign DaVinci Concept (Returning, 40 points)
Winter: Ferrari Purosangue (New-to-Forza, 20 points), Maserati Levante (Returning, 40 points)
Spring: Ferrari 12cilindri (New-to-Forza, 20 points), Italdesign Zerouno (Returning, 40 points)

I still stand by the idea that this is the Ferrari Update, it's just that we don't entirely know what else is on the other side.

I don't know much about predictions but if they start bringing back cars for forty points which aren't already in the game without making them attainable by all players, online or off, rather than just Game Pass subscribers, I predict hell is going to break loose.

Just saying. It's hard enough for some of us to get the cars that are already in FH6 cough F8 Tributo ahem.

The only way I got certain missing cars from the AH was by sitting there and hitting search over and over then using the Y button to get to buyout quickest, although oftentimes that method still isn’t quick enough and I had to wait for multiple to pop up before I got a successful buyout. The wheel spin exclusive cars actually weren’t as hard to get as my second Mazda Furai and second AE86 FE but I did manage to get both after trying long enough. Even if you get every car like I have you still can’t complete the car collection because of the upcoming playlist reward the Mercedes AMG GT R and the series history reward the Mazda Cosmo are both part of it. I’m not sure if there will ever be a time when you can actually complete the car collection category or not.

Amongst my car collection which granted isn’t that big I’m split between either the stock Audi V10 GT or a Lexus LC500 with race exhaust. The Audi has a proper V10 yowl whilst the Lexus is an angry but warm and smooth sounding noise.

How does one even get a 26B engine?

“Hi. Mazda Racing Department? Remember those four-rotor 26B engines you used in the 787B 35 years ago to take the first ever overall win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by a Japanese manufacturer? The ones that were built in a clean room by lab-coated technicians with more care and precision than the Apollo moon missions? The ones that are an irreplaceable part of Japanese automotive racing history? Yeah, well, my name’s Mad Mike and I’ve got an old 808 wagon I want to go drifting in-

I like the E36 M3. Together with the playful handling it makes a real enjoyable car.
A car that dearly deserves a remodel, and the 323ti proves they can make a much more accurate E36. It always amazes me it's not been used as a playable car in Horizon.

The BMW M1 sounds pretty good with the right exhaust on it, it's super raspy at the high end. The 2013 RS4 Avant with a supercharger is also up there with my current favourites.

Bold of you to think that because series 3 is called Italian Exotics that means it'll just be the Ferrari update haha 😄. I personally think that playground games would want more variety than just Ferrari and the cars above but each to their own I guess, Don't get me wrong I can see the 575 M coming back with a new model next update but I don't think that means it'll be soley Ferrari focused with other Italian cars sprinkled in. Also I'm standing by the fact we're not getting the Luce because one it's not even in production yet and two because like someone else said Ferrari are probably worried to license the car out given the terrible feed back lol and they would probably be worried about what players would do with the Luce in racing games.

Also I personally think we'll be seeing Kimera Automobili get added next update because the logo was found in the credits for the game from memory, plus imo a Ferrari themed update would be kinda boring if you're not heavily into Ferraris.

Oh alright exciting. And same here 😀.

In reference to previous posts on here:

1, I would love a 90's Fiat Panda 4x4 in the game. A brilliant fun little car.

2, Music plays an enormous part of the FH experience for me. I use different radio stations for different things. Classical for just exploring, rock/indie for hooning about etc.
