I bought the Dino from the Autoshow because I'm not doing Trials anymore. By the way, is it a rescan? Looks quite sharp.
I already had one from the wheelspin, so I've got one extra waiting around till next week when the challenges end to pop on the market.

But yeah, the trials can be frustrating, especially when you're paired with people who don't seem to understand nor care that it's a team effort. I was in one where everyone else except for another driver & I bailed out. Still managed to beat the AI. ^^

So far I have been able to complete every trial first try without needing the third event. Definitely feels like I have lucked out with fast and competent team mates but also does not seem too difficult to get at least 3-400 points even if you did not bring the best car.

However for the rest of this series I will be traveling and the only option I will have to play is on steam deck. Should be interesting to see how much of the playlist I can complete on it each week.

The funny thing about the Biturbo is that not only was it not as reliable as a Corolla, it also didn't drive with Italian verve or passion.
I have a soft spot for the Ghibli Cup just because of its hilariously absurd power-to-displacement ratio, but it also benefits from being in a video game that doesn't simulate mechanical failure.

The wheelspins being rather generous today.

I dunno if this is a bug, but the photo challenge's objectives mark the Pantera as a Ferrari.
I'm wondering if there's any possibility that somewhere in the background there's a piece of a Ferrari captured in the photo. Somewhere. Anywhere. If there's any possibility this has happened, you'll get credit for it - just like updating photos for your Collection Journal.

No way! You got the elusive Halftone Button-Up Shirt!!! 😉

I love the exposed wiring under the passenger side of dash in the Pantera. I doubt that was unique to the one they modelled too.
It was the era when Italian sports cars all had that "built in a shed" vibe, so that was most likely a common feature. Another fine example being the Lamborghini Espada, with its switchgear thrown all over the cabin seemingly at random.

It seems there's a new bug that allows players to act as God.

Just tried it myself, and it works in Horizon Life as well, though the game does crash when trying to set the weather effects back to default.

Edit: Did a tiny bit of extra testing; re-starting the game and opening photo mode will just make the game go back to whatever your settings were before crashing. If you want to go back to default weather, starting up a race and re-entering photo mode will put everything back to normal. However, if you had the game set to rain beforehand, the rain drop effect on 3rd-person cameras will still be present, even if it's bone-dry out on the road. To get rid of that, you'll need to make sure that your weather settings are back to default, and then close the game and start it back up.

Aston DB7 GT sounds nice in stock form. I’m bitterly disappointed that there’s no widebody option for it lol

Went to the new Italian Exotics dealer. Haven’t seen so many players ingame in the same location hahahaha. Every man and his dog was there. No wheelspin cars to be found sadly so as tradition dictates I did some donuts in the intersection out front and went to hang out with Mei instead.

Anyone around here has had this issue where road textures become very low-res? This only happens inside the city (it's at its worse in front of the Tokyo House) and I've encountered a few other players who have this happening to them too, but the devs never addressed it.

I have Texture Quality set to Ultra and I'm not hitting my VRAM limit at any point so I'm just confused. They also become even worse if I rotate the camera around, which just adds to the weirdness of all this.

I did the playlist tonight.

When I was playing the lighting in the game was weird and when I went through some tunnels it went like a deep pitch black and the cars I was driving in the tunnels turned a strange shiny black color.

I did the three PR Stunts and the Time Attack using the same car which was the Diablo SV barn find, I did all them easy in like 10 minutes.

The Trial was okay for me, we got it done in three races but the second and third were basically free-for-alls with a lot of ramming and crashes, but we got it done and no re-spawn on to The Vision house after.

I went by the Italian Exotics Aftermarket twice and there were no cars there either time.

If read a post I think on reddit that was talking about the same issue. So it's not only you. I unfortunately didn't followed up and don't know if there was a conclusion or solution for the problem. I personally never noticed this but I'm also not running on ultra or extreme settings.

Y'know, this Aftermarket spot was good for one thing for me so far--I actually now have all but one of the non-Playlist reward cars this Series. All I'm missing is the Ferrari Portofino and that's it.

Of course there's the Tememario, that EVO Spyder, and the other Group B Lancia, but that's... surprisingly not a whole lot of cars left over.

I was wondering if anyone could answer this for me. In my game, I've already discovered all the map areas in the "Discover Japan" menu, but the notification marker at the bottom of the screen says "68/74," meaning there are still 6 areas missing. Does anyone know if this is a bug or something like that?

I think it refers to the Points of Interest located in each region and some of these are not found in the Discovery or Photography parts of Discovery Japan. I still have some to find but have unlocked 100% of each region and have completed the Discovery and almost all of Photography (just the Sky Lanterns for Autumn season left).

Some of the POI you have to actually visit. One example is Hirosaki castle.I took a photo and was done but it was still showing as 1 POI missing. After much searching for a long time it turns out I had to visit the castle, rather than take a photo from a distance, like I did.As soon as I went up to the castle a message appeared at the bottom of my screen. 👍

You're 100% Correct. What's weird is that some of them surprisingly popped while I was randomly driving and just relaxing. At some point I even found a barn find while randomly deforesting the region and drifting/jump through it for skill points.

Edit after remembering: In some previous Forza Horizon games I would drive at high speed through some fields and I accidentally triggered a barn find cutscene while jumping near it at a low height. Car stopped on a dime and landed rapidly after being airborne.
