Maybe I was wrong 😕 I really thought they would have showed Tokyo tonight still time but I doubt it now... 😫

EDIT I was correct but no Tokyo

This map is just hills. There's barely any open areas like FH5. Incredible.

The last shot seems to be the time trial circuit from the Dev Direct

I wonder what all these teasers are leading too (if anything)

Maybe a Map Reveal video on the Forza YT channel?

Either way, they're doing a great job of building hype.
Hopefully it's leading to some sort of big reveal this weekend.

But agree they are doing an amazing job at building the hype.

may can't come fast enough.

Strongly inspired by Ebisu that track.

I dunno, but I think some Motorsport cars, like TCR/Touring, GT3/GTE and might Hypercar/LMDH plus Gr.C cars are coming in Horizon... Judging the fact there's an Alfa Romeo Prototype who never raced (one of the most unexpected car in videogame history, a Peak choice of automotive culture by Forza team in my honest opinion) in that category as DLC...
Can you Imagine a 787B car in Daikoku or in Tokyo? :-D

i would absolutely love to see the 1998 Toyota TS020 from Forza Motorsports come to Forza Horizion 6 ( i can strongly see a 80s/90s Le-Mans era car pack in the near future japan has strong history in Le-Mans)

Rocketing through Japanese tight back-roads , yes please!

street races in this thing with backroads give me F.O.S feeling

Which car are you guys hoping got a sound improvement? Personally I would hope the Kona N will make the roster and it gets the turbo sounds it’s missing in FH5.

There are a few off the top of my head that I've noticed:

  • Many cars use the Jaguar E-type's V12 sound file when they shouldn't, including the Abarth 595 for some reason.
  • The AMG GT Black Series sounds like it has the GT R's cross-plane V8 rather than a flat-plane like it should.
  • Most of the Honda/Acura inline-4s sound bad, although the EK Civic sounded much better in the trailer. They all could use a better VTEC crossover too.
  • Every car with an inline-3 shares the same sound I believe (except possibly the i8, but I may be wrong). The GR Yaris, Fiesta ST, and Autozam AZ-1 should not all sound the same, and yet they do.
  • The Hyundai N cars need some adjustment and need more crackles and pops.
  • The 991 and 992 GT3s actually seem like a step back from Horizon 4, and could sound more aggressive than they do in 5.
  • The GTA Spano is flat-out incorrect; it sounds like a V8 instead of a V10.
  • Many of the inline-4s in general (especially more modern ones and rally cars) still sound a little too synthetic.

i really hope with the addition of the Evo 6 T.M.E they have added at least some new customisation fingers crossed we finally get the varis widebody as it's my favourite kit for any car. 🤞🏻
Varis have a nice selection of kits that I'd love to see in game. We already have the GR Yaris and the WRX S209 kits in FH5, so it's not a stretch to think they may have added more kits from Varis.

I know the premium edition gives you access 4 days early,do you think we will we be able to install the full game a day or so before that date?I know some games allow that, not sure its been a thing with the Horizon games.

If you purchase from the Xbox store I'm pretty sure it lets you install the full game straight away. Then you can play it as soon as it is released.

If is like FH4/FH5 & FM '23 you can pre-download the game, sometimes 10 days early.

the biggest complain with FH5 was lack of elevation (PG tried to fix the FH4 eliminator complains but ended up making things worse), so i guess they decided move with the many elevation changes japan has

First view of the coastline?
it seems to be a lake, since they will be around mt fuji and will be bringing back the 4 stations, i assume they will assume they will also bring back the big lake on the middle of the map that frozen during the winter, we had one on FH4 and wouldnt be suprised if wasnt back this time, specially when japan has so many lakes (around 4000 or so), specially around mt fuji (Fujigoko)

As i mentioned before, those types of small tracks are very common in Japan, this is where people go to race, time attack, or to drift around (its very likely that the time attack zone idea came from this aspect from japanese car culture), people outside Japan are more used with the big SuperGT/Formula tracks, Tsukuba and Ebisu, but japan racing culture is mostly more based of those grassroots tracks to drift or time attack with their customized cars

TCR and some GT3 were a thing on FH5, while TCR was used by community by a extent, most GT3 models went to get rdust
they tend to favor some super timeattack prototypes instead of the WEC ones (what i think the Alfa fits time attack this category), the only exemption for it were the racing trucks

i wouldnt be suprised if we saw the homologation models instead of the racing counterpart, i had saw the mercedes 90s prototype homologation car instead of the racing model a few times, i wouldnt be suprised if 787B and GT-One (that also have homologation cars) would come to this game in this way as well

I purchased the premium edition from the store, the only download/install you can do now is about 347 mb which i assume is just a placeholder.

@Vincenzo_CVR That sounds good.I bought FH5 after launch day so didnt know. 👍

Ahh that must have been it then for some reason I thought it just installed the full game and then you couldn't play it till release.

I was watching some news reports on NHK World Japan (not to be confused with NHK World Premium), they mentioned a famous travel route between tokyo and osaka called Golden Route, and it reminded of the potential horizon map

i wonder if the golden route was the focus of fhe map after all, maybe extended until the south of hiroshima and maybe the two sides being the pacific and the east/japan sea
