I'm kinda digging how the game awards XP & Credits for finding new areas, and how Horizon Story missions are unlocked by coming across them while driving. To me it looks like PG is attempting to better incentivize actually driving around and exploring the map.

I also thought it was cool how you can see steam/condensation coming off of the S7 LMs exhaust in a couple of the ultra low-speed sections. It's a small detail, but a neat one nonetheless.

I think I'm going to ignore these "gameplay" previews going forward. It's FH, I already know how the game plays and I don't want to spoil myself the new locations.
Honestly same, plus some one here will surely say if there is anything substantial in any of the videos.

Here are some location names that I was able to observe:

Nangan Region (prolly Forza's take of Nagano Prefecture)
Minamino Region
Ito Region
Hokubu Region
Irabu Ohashi Bridge

And two story events:
Ito Day Trip
Moto Auto Zine

At least the map looks a great improvement in colours and variety than Mexico (In my Humble opinion the weak point of the game).
The Montero and the Acty saw in traffic are already confirmed as drivable cars, I and hope also the Gallant will join them too.

The lack of life and traffic btw it's a bit dissapointing...
I'm very worried about the traffic variety. Based on the Dev Direct plus this, we get the following as traffic cars:
  • Hyundai IONIQ 5 N
  • Honda Beat
  • Nissan Fairlady Z 432
  • Mitusbishi Galant VR-4
  • Mitsubishi Montero Exceed
  • Honda Acty

They better scan a Toyota Crown Comfort/Crown Athlete and make taxi versions of them.

Really hope they see the comments on X and YouTube and decide to up the traffic density because it looks so quiet. Map looks fantastic but we need more of an alive feeling.

Torben from PGG seems to have confirmed on FH6's Discord Server, that the traffic was turned down in the video.
Its good to know that it was turned down and wasn't the actual traffic that we will see in May. But it did leave a lot of people with a somewhat poor taste in their mouths because of this decision to turn down the traffic for the gameplay footage.

Gas stations, lots of traffic, map not Eliminator-friendly...I don't think a lot of you guys are really thinking these things through.

Gas stations? Welcome to running out of gas every ten minutes, because why have refillable gas if you don't have to use it? It's just another chore, that's all. Remember the cell phone and hanging out in GTA4? Or how another settlement was always under attack in Fallout 4? Annoying. Hope you enjoy your unskippable cut scenes of your character driving up, opening the door for a flash of specially-modeled-car-interior, your character slowly climbing out of the car, looking around, and swaggering around the car to the gas pump, where they press a few buttons, awkwardly hold up a card, put it back in their back pocket (whether they have one or not), pull out the gas nozzle, and finally stick it in the side/back/wherever of the car, followed by a slow fade to black. Sure, probably sorta cool the first couple times...much less so when you're on your 100th hour of gameplay and have spent an hour of that watching the same unskippable cut scene. I hope it's just decoration or they serve some useful purpose other than another chore.

Traffic? Welcome to gridlock. Hope you don't mind being unable to get that brand new Huracan over 50 without hitting another car.

Map not Eliminator-friendly? Hope you enjoy six gas stop cutscenes in addition to a slow, aggravating, hour-long drive along those twisty, turny roads at npc traffic speeds, since you'll have all that traffic blocking your way and can't just set off across the map without barriers-for-the-sake-of-barriers popping up everywhere, all just to get to a place on the map you can see in game from the place you set out from. A map you can navigate off road saves a lot of time. Obstacles that split the map into disconnected sections are just a waste of time.

And, to be completely honest, while I'm burning all my bridges, winter in FH4 looked nice, but was annoying at best and frustrating often enough that I mostly stopped playing during that season. There. I said it. FH4 winter was BAD.

I do like how they toned down the tunnel exits in the new game, however; best change so far.
