If they did they would have been posted on this forum already as there are a few people in here that dig through the files but since non have been posted then I wouldn't of thought anyone has found anything worth sharing.

Why was the leaked cars list for Forza Horizon 4 and 5 so big then and for Forza Motorsport 2023 it was the opposite?

No idea I'm not the one who leaked it 🤣

But I'm saying if there is anymore things in the game files then people will post it in this group like they have done with FH5 and other previous games.

I hope so. And my guess is we will see even more leaked car when Forza Horizon 6 comes out so I cant wait for that.
 
Marketing and comms are two different things.

What you’re seeing now is mostly comms, intended for enthusiasts and franchise fans. Keep the ball rolling, mild awareness etc. If you’re on a forum like GTP then you’re more aware of this game and its details than 99.999% of people who will eventually play the game. Traditional marketing is not for you, you’re the kind that will find the game on your own.

“Marketing” happens when you want to hit the mass market who have never played your games before. For mass-market there’s no point in promoting a game until right before it comes out, so that they buy while the hype is high.

Marketing is also the things you probably won’t see, like banner ads before YouTube videos, in Reddit feeds, in print media, on buses, on TV etc. That’s where word of mouth forms, and once content creators and the like get their previews/reviews in the awareness can be indirectly converted to sales.

Launch trailer is usually the official “start” of that kind of marketing. Anything before then is almost considered a waste of money for that target audience because you’re not aligned with the consumer journey from awareness to purchase. It’s easier to market to somebody who can buy and play your game right away than to convince them to pre-order something they won’t touch for months.

This is typical for any Forza release, I wouldn't expect any more real info for at least another few weeks. They usually ramp up a month or so before release.

And we still have over 400 cars to go as well so I wonder if they are going to reveal the rest of the cars in massive bulks or just all at once?

If I recall correctly, FH3 had its post-launch additions leaked after a developer build of the game was accidentally pushed to a stable branch. Similarly, I believe FH4's vehicles weren't hidden very well during the preload for that game, so dataminers made quick work of it. My mind is quite fuzzy though, this was years ago so I could be misremembering. I recall most of FH5's leaks being post-launch and mostly comprised of images found in the game files. Again, could be misremembering.

There's still plenty of time for them to reveal cars though so I wouldn't worry too much on that front. What I really wanna know about more right now is if FM8 vinyl groups are going to be able to be ported. My main worry is that they won't allow it since you could straight up steal other peoples' vinyl groups in that game for a little while. So the natural worry here is "well maybe they don't want to risk stolen vinyl groups being ported over".

Some further clarification on why we can't port entire liveries would also be appreciated. Pretty sure it's because they redid the UV's for each vehicle but it would be nice to have a confirmation.

I wonder if anyone has found any new leaked cars from the Forza Motorsport 2023 files?
The Forza Horizon 4 and 5 leaked cars list was massive so I wonder if the same goes for Forza Motorsport 2023.

There is only 2 cars leaked cars from the Forza Horizon 3 files left that havent been added yet.

And do you think 8 or so weeks is enough to show us to reveal the 400 other cars as well as the other features we havent seen a showcase of yet? Its almost April so thats why I think we are running out of time.

I apologize for the inconvenience I have caused. I always thought you all know more than anyone who arent using this site. Thats how I have always known this place judging from all the stuff I have seen on Youtube regarding these leaked cars. I will tone it down.

Yes. It’s the place for us to share ideas of what could be coming to the game, or just some humour to keep us entertained while waiting for news or the game’s launch. There is also a dedicated Car Wishlist thread, so the car suggestions go there.

I dont mind treating it like Reddit. At first I thought this was the original source for leaks which then get published to other sites but now I know its for far more than that. I will gladly treat it like I do with Reddit. Thats totally fine for me. I think we can all have a great time here.

I would say treat it more like an online, social club than Reddit. Reddit's far too anonymous & relaxed in its posting privileges, for better or worse. Folks here literally put a face to their account, so there is an expected decorum & weight behind words.

Discussion is fine, just don't treat it like Reddit where discussion is done for the sake of it.

I was a lurker here for a while so while I joined last September I only a couple of days ago just started breaking my silence so I had to get used to the enviroment. But I am getting it.

I must say Tueday was truly a nothing day and the only major thing that happened was some drama. I was really hoping it was another news day but it wasnt. Imagine if IGN and Microsoft drop a bombshell of news on a Wednesday though. That would be very unusual.

They only have horizon rush to showcase according to their articles. I guess that's what will drop on Thursday and will be the last of their exclusive coverage

Or they surprise us with another showcase next week and this week will be Horizon Rush. Feels like there is still a lot of things we dont know yet. It would still be March if they show us something next Tuesday as well. I will use my patience and wait.
