Or they surprise us with another showcase next week
The was a 10 day gap between showcases, between the 10th and 20th. Not every Tuesday and Thursday will have them.

I feel like we've already got a decent amount of information about the game. The two FAQs on the site are already extermely long, plus all these IGN showcases. Also I'd like to discover some of it while actually playing, otherwise what's the point. Car list I'm not too fussed about, there's bound to be cars I want in the game, and some not. It is what it is.

The only few things I'm still curious about are the actual map size, the Festival playlist mechanics, and the handling. This one point which has been conspicuously missing from all their communication. Obviously I'm not expecting big changes, but you'd think with all the supposed improvements Motorsport made, some of it would be carried over to Horizon, and they'd mention it.

Personally all I want is for the egregious AI rubber-banding to kieusero, or at least be turnoffable. I have very little hope that it will.
I always thought you all know more than anyone who arent using this site. Thats how I have always known this place judging from all the stuff I have seen on Youtube regarding these leaked cars.
Most people here are just... people. Very few have any kind of advanced knowledge (and for those of us who are technically journalists, if we do know something we usually can't share due to embargoes or the information coming through privileged channels) and mostly we're all discussing stuff we do know. Or at least can reasonably infer.

For the most part that means almost everyone here learns the same stuff at the same time and has roughly equal knowledge levels. Take you for example: you're a GTPlanet member now. Do you know more about FH6 than a regular person? Would you be happy being asked half a dozen questions about an opinion you've posted, on the basis that as a GTP member you must have more knowledge?

I get that we're all eager to learn more, but there's little sense in demanding answers from people who don't have them and panicking about the pace of information flowing from PG. It's a carefully orchestrated campaign from a publisher (basically Microsoft) that's managed far bigger releases before, and a developer now on its sixth title in the same series; they know what they're doing.

Well, hopefully.

Seven weeks is plenty of time. The game won't have even gone for mastering yet, and even then there'll be a day one patch because there always is now.

I'm totally fine if they show us more features and not just bulks of cars in April. I'm also totally ok with using my patience. Honestly I don't even want to be like this. I don't know why it happens but it happens and I never planned to be like this.

Interesting that they're not releasing storage space requirements yet. FH5 took up about 150 GB by the end, without expansions, and with FH6 coming with 550 cars at launch AND it running on ForzaTech, I wonder if that'll be even bigger.

If they plan to bring back those other hundreds of cars I hope they do it via the Autoshow and not the Festival Playlist. The Festival Playlist should only be for cars that are new to the Forza franchise or cars we havent seen in a long time.

That's not exactly what I was talking about, but it does remind me.

I do wonder what form the Festival Playlist will take this time. In FH4 Playlist unlocks were awarded based on Series progression rather than Playlist points, and FH5 added the points system to allow folks to pick and choose how they got those reward cars. But with all these new progression paths outside the festival in 6, will the Playlist change to match that, or will it mostly adapt to the non-Festival content?

Well we know we are losing hundreds of cars again so thats why I mentioned it. I wouldnt mind the Festival Playlist returning but after a month or so they should bring those exclusive cars to the autoshow. There is other ways they can keep us playing such as a ranked mode for both racing and Playground Games events.

I swear to baby Jesus if that "play on steam deck" is actually through cloud services and not natively I'll go buck mad
Q: Can I play the PC version of Forza Horizon 6 on Steam Deck or Xbox ROG Ally, and is there cross-save for these devices?

For players who own a PC gaming handheld device, such as the Steam Deck or Xbox ROG Ally, you can explore Japan on the go with all your progress intact thanks to cross-save, which is available on every platform Forza Horizon 6 can be played on. That includes Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam and SteamOS devices, PC gaming handhelds, and the PlayStation 5 version coming later this year.

Which very perfectly skirts what I said - playing natively is different. We knew about cross save a while ago, but they still don't say it's an install on the device situation.

I really hope it is!

Why ? I personally do not want to know every detail about game before even playing it lol. I want my day 1 suprises when i get my hands on it :P
I will probably still enjoy the game even after I already know what will happen in the first version of the game. I dont have any information fatigue so I am fine with it.
