I hope we get the regular versions of the J50 and NA MX-5 and S-Cargo and RX-3 as well.

They are literally all on the list.
Now they are but for a while they werent. I guess todays list update also included the regular versions of those 3 Forza Edition cars from a few months ago. The non pre-tuned J50 is not there yet for some reason. I only just now saw the non Forza Edition versions of those 3 cars and yesterday they werent there. Hopefully the non pre-tuned J50 will follow.

What do you mean S2?

I wish they showed us a interior shot of that Integra so that we finally know what transmission it is. I sure hope its manual.
dude, please stop with obsessing of which transmission they modeled, it doesn't matter gameplay wise.

The regular versions of pre-order cars and Forza editions are always included.

There's 400 cars to be announced or something, there is nothing to suggest it won't be there and evidence to suggest it will. Until that changes, there's no need to keep worrying about it.
Yeah I guess we will see. And they do seem to separate the Forza Edition cars from the normal versions so maybe it will be the same for the J50.

Honestly this was still a good news day so I am very happy. My day was already made when a Redditor completely out of nowhere gave me a Trolli Peel P50 code. And I am positive that we will see more bangers from the people that make the game.

Seem to? They just do and always have done.
They have in Forza Horizon 4 but in this case the pre-tuned J50 is just named J50 or they may change it to J50 Preorder Edition after they put the non pre-tuned J50 into the list sometime before launch. Only time will tell. Either way this is a great day!

This confirms that the Silvia S13 it's a new model, since it's the 1989 K'S and not the 1992 Club K'S see in old Forzas.
The Gloria Gran Turismo it's a great addition, 1st apperance for her in a videogame! (The Gloria Ultima Gran Turismo present in the closed now Shutoko No Battle Mobile it's the Y32 Gran Turismo Ultima, this one, from 1995 it's the Y33)

There was a topic for the S13 being inaccurate but they never confirmed a rescan meaning this was all a surprise and they may rescan even more cars while not telling anyone. This is great news! The devs are really on a roll with bangers lately!

This image is from the latest Blog-Post.

It sounds like we are getting the Forza Horizon 2-5 engine in FH6 aswell.
I think this is rather good than bad considering the m many issues the FM23 engine still has (atleast in that game).
I dont think this is anything to be mad or sad about and rather a good thing imo.
What do you guys think about it?

I could see it at the first trailers/screenshots that it's not the FM23 engine. I like it but Horizon does not need that tech imo and the clear giveaway is always the sky and clouds which are filmed and clever stitched together videos not volumetric clouds like in FM23 :)

I wonder what kind of engine they swapped in... And in what location.

Forzatech is arguably still the same Forzatech introduced in FM6 (itself based on the FM5/FH2 engine); but that doesn't mean anything, since there's no public SDK pre-determining what can be achieved during the development of the game, but rather the engine gets ad-hoc modifications for every title. They could completely rebuild how some graphical or physics process works; it would still be Forzatech.
It doesn't make much sense to talk about an "old" or "new" engine for proprietary tech. And besides that, FH6 will likely use some of the raytracing and shader libraries introduced in FM23.

Personally I think all this talk about "muh engine" is a waste of time: marketing claptrap when it comes from PGG/T10, and idle speculation when it's mouthed by "influencers" and opinion leaders. What we can actually determine is only how the finished product performs, and we won't be able to tell until we get our hands on it.
