Well, respectfully, I wouldn't call the force feedback in FM horrible. It just comes with suboptimal settings out of the box, and it's very hard to adjust and get just right, because of the complicated menu with all the different sliders.
After following HokiHoshi's guide I found settings that made the FFB feel on par with GT7 and almost as good as Assetto Corsa.
So, I agree with
@PJTierney. I hope the driving experience in FH6, with a wheel, is better than FH5 and more like FM23 (but perhaps with better base settings out of the box).
I imagine many simracers will want to try out the touge racing and drifting with a wheel in FH6, so there should be incentive for good wheel support and feel.
It took PGG until Series 19(!) to implement adjustable max rotation for steering wheels on FH5. I hope that's something we get at launch in FH6. At least we know that all wheels compatible with FH5 will work in FH6 as well. That's always something, I guess.
So, yeah, sorry for the long rant. But agree to disagree regarding the FFB in FM23 😉
