Probably means neither yes or no.
"Probably" means somewhere between "very likely" and "almost certainly".
It just means I took a guess.
Again, you didn't present it as one - and you didn't even need to answer the post because you didn't know the answer to the question. Sometimes it's okay to just not know something and not have to guess wildly at an answer for the sake of it.
And we will probably get more info in April.
Here you'll see you using "probably" to mean "very likely/almost certainly" (correctly), not "neither yes or no"...

You don't need to answer this post either. Just take this advice on board: you're making almost every other post in this thread over the last couple of days, and it's just unnecessary to do so when you're not advancing the discussion any.

From the IGN article

Not sure if it's free choice from the outset or you have to do it in their chosen car the first time.
Hey, another confirmed car not on the official list. I'm not surprised the (god mode) RS200 is in the game, but I'm glad to see it's in.

EDIT: in fact, isn't this the first confirmed Ford, and not long after we got the first confirmed Subaru? I think the car list might wind up being a lot more satisfactory than I hoped given its reduced size. We've already got Alfas and Lancias confirmed, too.

Is the regular RS200 really that good? I know the Hoonigan RS200 is but I dont recall the normal one dominating in online events.

I said it in the FH5 section but good in them for adding all the base cars to Backstage Pass. I already had them all but I really do sympathize with the people who couldn't take part in the weekly grind.

It would be good if they put all the returning cars from Forza Horizon 5 into the Autoshow rather than locking them behind the Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist. All Festival Playlist cars should also be put into the Autoshow after 1 month which would replace Backstage.

A parking garage was spotted in this breakdown video of the Rush Events! That gives me those sweet, sweet Tokyo Drift vibes!😍

It also results in notification spam, which when done with enough posts that don’t warrant such attention results in the Ignore User feature being used.

Quality over quantity and all that, better to have longer more detailed comments/opinions than one-liners. This isn’t Discord, it’s a forum :)

That would be nice but is unlikely to happen. There’s going to be about 400 or so cars added to the game post-launch (Forza Horizon 5 started with 500 and ended with over 900), mostly returning cars but also plenty of new-to-Forza cars.

Playground tend to mix both together into their time-limited events in order to maximise engagement, player retention and (under direction from Microsoft) Game Pass re-subs.

There’s definitely ways that car accessibility can be improved but time-limited exclusivity is absolutely part of their live service strategy and I don’t see this game changing that approach when it’s been so successful for them over the past 10 years.

Cars are the reason many do Festival Playlist at all so unless that feature is removed entirely you’re going to have to deal with exclusive content.

Some of you all have way more total comments than I do either way. And I am used to commenting a lot.

Bit late but I'm really impressed by those system requirements. I figured I'd be waiting for the PS5 release with my current specs (& having been Morally Destroyed by growing tech prices) and how gaming optimisation seems to be going, but that's thrown it on its head completely and got me a loooot more excited for release.

Was told by a friend at Playground a while ago not to worry and to get it on PC because it's got to run on the Series S and that thing sucks specs wise, but it's nice to see the actual requirements put out like that.

From the fact that the preview video was a Group B rally car and the reviewer's gameplay was in a different Group B rally car, one could draw the conclusion that - at least the first time you go through an event - you are locked into specific cars or specific car types for the events. However there is not enough information to guess either way.
This is speculation on my part, but the 6R4, the RS200 and the Huracan Sterrato are all in the Rally Monsters class in FH5, so that leads me to believe it’s possible that the curated car/class for the first run on that Horizion Rush is that. 🙂

As for Horizion Rush itself, I’m liking them to the Gymkhana Sprint events on Dirt 3, hitting stunts while competing for the fastest time possible, always a good skill sharpener. ;)

At this point I'm not sure what else they could confirm that would make this my favorite in the series, aside from maybe an extremely granular and easy-to-configure feature where you can choose specific opponents in a custom blueprint race. If I want to do a classic Skyline vs. RX-3 showdown or reenact a particular Mid Night Club battle, I'd like to do that instead of pick from a pool and hope for the luck of the draw.

EDIT: might as well point to this as a sort of wishlist. Mid Night Club isn't just a Rockstar franchise.

Horizon Rush events look nice - and certainly will be nice change from all of the bigger career mode events being exclusively Showcases.

They certainly look much more replayable too. Would be cool to see them add more over time too - or perhaps improved Event Lab tools will allow users to create a decent facsimile of these races.

If they’ve thought about this in a smart way they could function like in The Crew Motorfest where after you’ve beaten one you can go back and replay it with different cars/weather. The official/default configuration is the one that goes on leaderboards but the custom setup is there for experimentation.

So instead of vehicle categories you would have classes like A or D?

I can see them do a Tie-In with Universal Studios... They had a big DLC at the end of FH5s live with some back to the future cars and one from jurrasic park. Maybe they can do a full pack with a map that is split into "1950s, 1800s and Future USA", "Jurrasic Dinosaur Park", "Fast and Furios Underground" and even trow in the Minions

It goes a-bit further than that, There’s the leaderboard for the Playlist(Curated), a temporary(?) one for each weeks Main Stage theme and then the Custom Mode leaderboards, one for each discipline available on that event.

The multi-discipline events do have leaderboards in custom mode too, but it only counts the time for the discipline you finish the event with, not start with.

So you can cheese those ones by starting with an Alpha GP or Hypercar, then finishing with something like the Rally Raid or Motocross to get a high rank on those respective boards.

But yes, it should be easy to implement in FH6, a leaderboard for the curated cars/class and then class based leaderboards for the custom events. 👍

Saw these today. Not sure where they are coming from. Could be thumbnails found in FH5 or FM files or even fake?

Its fake and I can tell because of the font. Some of the car models like the 2024 GT-R are also completely wrong compared to the official version. So while all these cars are coming these thumbnails are fake for the reasons I stated above.
