@UKMikey No idea how he managed that, given it was a preview build
Clearly he drove over every road three or four times :p

[EDIT] There are 673 roads in the preview.

I'm Speechless, the game it's goregeous, and they have put tons of cars I really wanted in game, glad to see Legacy, 850csi (my favourite BMW), Furai and the GT500 Skyline R33 too!! (Please, it would be amusing to see also the new GT500 cars here)

A lot of good stuff coming out, but the main thing I'm interested in is any information regarding Horizon 6's soundtrack.

The Japanese station that played during initial drive preview had a song that sounded like a mix between City Pop and Electronic music. Definitely very encouraging, but I need more for sure.

New to Forzas/360 Returnees based on this list:
  • 2020 BMW X6 M Competition
  • 1986 Honda Civic Si
  • 2008 Mazda Furai
  • 1991 Mazda RX-7 Type R
  • 2020 Mercedes-Benz SLC 43 Final Edition
  • 1998 Nissan #23 Pennzoil Nismo Skyline GT-R GT500
  • Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition
  • Toyota Crown Super Deluxe Taxi
  • Toyota JPN Taxi
Don't know if it's been seen my anyone else yet but I've seen a Toyota s800 FE in someone's video.

EDIT: just realised that the s800 FE is the fanta edition not Forza edition 🤦🏻‍♂️

I just started playing FH5 so a lot of the things in the IGN preview were new to me but this game looks great! The part of Tokyo they showed looks great. The touge looks awesome, the highway stuff looks great. For me I can see myself spending a lot of time roaming around Tokyo and not really racing a bunch. Hopefully the Chaser makes an appearance. FH5 will have to do until this hits the PS5.

Toyota JPN Taxi
i wonder if it is NPC car or if we will be allowed to drive it
i still have sadness for not being able to drive VW Fox and Mazda 3
The Japanese radio has a Japanese speaker who only speaks in Japanese?
not just it, it seems she is a anime voice actress, at least her voice VERY familiar, i am sure i heared her in some anime
also japanese media is also picking up, the readers seems are really excited for this game, i wonder how the eventual PS5 physical media will peform in Famitsu

I'm not watching, just hearing, podcast style.
Don still looks a bit low-res. Other than that I'm also trying to watch with my eyes closed as his and Turbine's voices are familiar to me now.

The highway system looks absurd. I can't tell just yet if it's as thorough as, say, TXR 2025 (EDIT: it could actually be more elaborate, considering it loops around a huge chunk of the map), but the idea of being able to spend a lot of time doing Mid Night shenanigans up there is enough to send my hype meter through the roof.

I wonder where he found the R172 SLC 43 and 2020 X6 M Competition? Whats the original source?

I feel like I was ignored the first time around.
Well, it was only THIRTEEN minutes between posts? I think of myself as someone who frequents this site on a regular basis (several times a day), but sheesh, when I ask a question, especially a simple one, I might give it at least a few hours, if not a day, before I ask again.

But that's just my opinion.

At this point most of my wishlist/concerns are stuff at the margins I don't expect to be showcased. None of these are dealbreakers and most of it is kind of personal and nitpicky, it'd just be nice to have, and hopefully some of these are in the game but haven't been talked about yet.

-character avatars: will they be more diverse in age/body type/look, or is it going to be just a bunch of photogenic babyfaced under-30s with gym memberships? Also, will we be able to save looks/outfits? It'd be nice to actually have a bunch of different hot-swappable avatars/drivers for different contexts, like RPing a racing team or somesuch.

-license plates: I'm kind of annoyed they didn't get the font right, but other than that, can we finally have different plates for different cars in our garage, or is it still going to be the same plate for every one you drive unless you manually change it?

-blueprints: I think I already brought this up, but again, I want to have more choice and specificity in my custom races. If I want to have a one-on-one battle between a '71 Skyline and a '73 RX-3, or a 12-car field where I get to pick each one of my opponents' cars, I'd appreciate the choice to do it instead of being limited to picking a car category and hoping its RNG gives me an interesting field to go up against.

-opponent livery options: I know it's usually all-or-nothing, and the online/social aspect means I'm always going to see somebody's goofy Spongebob/Monster Energy/ugly-font-choice/Christmas-in-July designs. But in blueprint/custom/singleplayer mode I'd at least like to have the capability of choosing liveries I've downloaded/liked to be the default for opponents rather than being served up low-effort/meme slop.

-car sorting/categories: the choice between favorites and everything else isn't going to cut it. I'd like to have more granular category options, so if I feel like driving one of three dozen fully tuned and tweaked cars I can sort through them a bit more easily.

I guess this is the kind of thing still left on my wishlist after seeing all those touge routes and highways and Tokyo back alleys and also confirmation that the Furai's in. Not a bad problem to have.

Just saw one of the Forza Edition cars being either a 86 or a BRZ but being turned into a rally-raid style monster racer.
