You should really include translations when you post these.

silly on this phrase is being mistranslated
the term used is Bakage, while it can be translated as "idiot game" it is a coloquial term japanese gamers tend to use for absurd-type games that surprise in a positive note, basically avg reaction when someone has when plays a forza horizon trial for the first time

so what he meant is "surprisignly intresting" or "surpresignly out-of-box" something along those lines

for those curious the japanese term for bad games usually it is the same as english: s... game...

Man, the game is just absolutely spectacular. 787B, the return of the Altezza and NOW a Glanza? Amazing! (I find it funny how Toyota back then were against street racing games and now they're fine with it)

The FE edition cars are good. I still like the MX-5, S-Cargo and the F-150.

Also, Michael S YT, you need to learn to calm down a little bit because some of your posts don't make sense at all.
 
Anybody else think that the sensation of speed is not quite right?What I mean is,watching one of the latest preview videos,the Civic seemed to be going a lot slower than the 120mph indicated on the speedo.I know in bumper cam the speed feels faster but in third person cam not so.In previous games this wasnt the case,it just felt faster.Might be my eyesight but wondered what peoples take on it was.
Also one of the preview builds said the game was running at 30fps.4k mode? This video has been made private so I cant link it.Is this to showcase how good the games looks,im assuming we will have a 60fps option as well.

Sense of speed is mostly related to motion blur which you can turn on or off.

Preview was limited to 30fps quality mode, presumably so all the footage shared is of the same quality. But the game will have a 60fps performance mode at launch.

FH5 sense of speed seemed better though,AR12gaming was doing the drag meet into a danger sign jump,topped out around 125mph but seemed a lot slower.Hopefully the finished build maybe a little better.
Have a look here,starts at 1357.Either way,May 15th cant come soon enough.This will be the first game that Ive payed extra for to play a few days early.👍

Where have you got that we are getting 2 X6 competitions from. This will most likely be the only X6 competition we get.

The only thing that is a minus for me so far is the lack of MODERN kei cars
no Nissan Sakura, No Honda N-One, No Honda S660, No Toyota Aqua, no Daihatsu or Suzuki
hell even Hyundai Casper/Inster would be a good compromise

the only kei cars that were talked so far seems that were made to fill the wishes of the guys that think that kei cars are japanese cars from 90s, not knowing that various new models came out since them

its amazing that (by leaked list) we have a modern chinese kei-like car but no Japanese one
how they maneged to get a Toyota JPN (that i am really glad that is on game by the way) but wasnt able to get modern kei cars?

With "only" 550-ish cars coming and so many new ones at that, the cut vehicles from FH5's final count of 900+ will undoubtedly be a bummer (or not, some of them were never particularly good/interesting), but the new additions will soften the blow, I hope. And who knows what the Playlist, Car Pass and eventual DLCs will bring to the party down the line.

I didn’t notice anything Hoonigan or Hot Wheels, which account for a TON of cars. Only one Forsberg as well. I wonder if the Tomica branding actually showing up on the Silhouette means no HW initially. Hoonigan has a huge collab with Ubisoft and The Crew now, so maybe there’s some exclusivity there?

And then there’s all the Mustang and Lambo variants that probably will end up being cut as well. I think their emphasis on bringing back most of the Japanese cars in the series history makes up so much for whatever is cut. We haven’t seen cars like the 323, Starion, R380, Sentra Nismo, Tsuru, BE-1, 97 Mark II, 00 Prelude, Cosmo, Datsun 2000, maybe the 66 Silvia from FM6-7 (lol 6-7) etc. leaked yet and I would assume all those will be in there as well. I could see about 25 cars that could plausibly be in the final list that aren’t leaked yet. The 26 Prelude also was leaked in the FM files and I think that could be in the game or if not a first month playlist car. There’s also a few non-Japanese cars that are adjacent to the culture that I think will be in there too like the Merc 500E (Yakuza car).

Like I am very confused right now I thought they were going to add the 2020 model but this the facelifted model which makes me wonder if we are going to have both since the pre-facelift is the one that is leaked.

2020 model was leaked yes but they may have replaced it with this new facelift model just because something was leaked doesn't mean they are definitely coming to the game.

Only time will tell. I dont know if a should choose team we will have both or team I doubt it so I will remain neutral.

i feel that, when the people that live in that place enjoy what they are ssing about their land being designed in a game, i feel there nothing else that us as outsides have to say about it

This happens from what I've seen with a lot of games, at least in the recent months, based in Japan. A lot of non-Japanese people have this idea of Japan in their head that isn't realistic and the actual Japanese people are happy about them. It's just culture at this point to try and cancel something you don't like and it needs to stop.

I wouldn't expect to see the Tsuru as it was primarily a Mexican car and far as I can tell wasn't popular in Japan. They tend to include region specific cars in each game that don't make to the next one.

Like the Austin FX4 Taxi from FH4.


They've already confirmed that the FE upgrades would be unique to FE cars.

The one thing I hope is changed, but I doubt it is, is the fact that painting the car in a custom color deletes even the badge. See AMG-One. I want to be able to keep some of the default decals.

This is so easy to fix in the files in FH5 it leads me to believe there’s some other reason why they don’t allow it such as licensing
