Someone on the unofficial car list forum just confirmed that the BMW is not the M2 CS, rather it is a BMW M2 Forza Edition.

Amongst all the excitement surrounding this week's previews, the code for my Trolli car arrived yesterday after purchasing some worms a few weeks ago! What a week. 😎

This happens from what I've seen with a lot of games, at least in the recent months, based in Japan. A lot of non-Japanese people have this idea of Japan in their head that isn't realistic and the actual Japanese people are happy about them. It's just culture at this point to try and cancel something you don't like and it needs to stop.

I wouldn't expect to see the Tsuru as it was primarily a Mexican car and far as I can tell wasn't popular in Japan. They tend to include region specific cars in each game that don't make to the next one.

Like the Austin FX4 Taxi from FH4.

They've already confirmed that the FE upgrades would be unique to FE cars.
That's true, although I'd think it also depends on how popular the car was and the Tsuru was like the meme car in FH5. Although I'd also gladly take that era Sentra SER with the V6 and a taxi mod as a playlist car, if that's the direction we're headed. I'd love to drag race it with that Crown Comfort taxi.

I forgot the million Extreme E copy-paste cars in FH5 as well. That series doesn't even exist anymore and it's now called Extreme H, which still doesn't have a race schedule for the 2026 season, lol. I can see how cutting Extreme E/Hoonigan/Hot Wheels cars and the Universal movie cars which have different contracts could easily get the car number down. I actually think the car list will be more like 575-590 but not over 600.

This kind of makes me wonder what the logic and theory is behind the newer FE cars. It's clear that customization is leaps above what the standard roster offers, but was it a decision based off of purely manufacturer restrictions/limitations?

Call me boring, but i was always intrigued with the logistics behind securing licensing rights to certain brands, generally speaking. It's no surprise many mainstream automotive brands have been absent in many recent iterations of both FM/FH, be it budgeting constraints (although hard to believe with a company like MSFT backing you as a AAA title) or some other corporate, obscure reason. A lot of people also forget that other developers could have secured rights to certain brands and could not be featured within another competitor during a contractual period.

If anyone wants to take a trip down memory lane, back in 2012 the Porsche Expansion Pack wasn't offered until later on during Forza Motorsport 4's cycle as Porsche was a brand that wasn't offered within the game upon release, with many believing that the NFSMW reboot had secured the rights to Porsche during the same time period. Or Toyota and Tesla not liking their vehicles to be portrayed in video games that depict street racing and being almost entirely absent in Forza Horizon 4 iirc.

I dont think its just that but there is probably also now political reasons behind it. If the evil billionaire (soon trillionaire which is insane) CEO gets replaced with someone who is actually a normal person that is pro consumer then they may license their cars again.
I think its safe to say that they dont want to do business with someone that wants us normal people to become worthless people with no value or rights. White people will be affected by this too. So yeah Tesla is not a good company to do business with.

Idk much about Audi but admittedly all I know is through video games but I have always wondered why we don't get pre-2000 Audis besides the S1 Quatro/Rally Car and the RS2 Avant.
I would like one of their non Quattro cars like a earlier Audi 80 or Audi 100. I dont know why they are all Quattros but they have made some non AWD cars and still do but some of the classic Audis should be added too.

Its a 1992 Galant VR-4
Pretty sure galants don't not have a bonnet scoop they have vents but not a scoop like this.

Could be wrong though.

EDIT: I think you're right with the galant as I've watched the video and the player is in a puma (rally class) so Ai's are in the same class cars and the giant is in that class.

Yeah, VR4 hood scoop I think is also a double as well
I am hoping somoeone can find a Drivatar driving a Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. I dont want the SLC 43 to replace the SLK 55 I want them to coexist.

Still looks like some kind of saloon.

Yeah, the AE92 Levin GT-Z version had a massive hood scoop in the front, but it could be anything. I initially thought SE-R but the turn lights are wrong.

I'm worried that Bugatti might be missing. There’s no sign of the EB110, Chiron, or Veyron in the leaks. I wonder if it's a licensing issue due to the change of ownership, now that Bugatti is in Rimac's hands.
Bugatti is one of those niche-well known bransd in Forza, like Pagani or Koenigsegg, at least to me. There are only 5 Bugattis in Horizon 5, and we are still finding cars in Horizon 6 from the previews. No one has stated finding any Paganis or Koenigseggs yet in the previews, even though it is to be expected to see the Agera RS.

I should clarify, they are well known brands, but have a small amount of vehicles in the series. This makes them a bit harder to find out of 550+ cars.

I personally do not see Bugatti not showing up in this game, as they seemed to have a good relationship with Turn10/Playground Games. Hopefully we see something soon though.

Has there really been multiple Levins and Truenos aside from the AE86?
Nope but that probably should be rectified. Toyota had Corolla-specific dealers in Japan until they streamlined their sales channels to "Toyota" and "Lexus" during the pandemic. The entire Corolla line (not just the AE86) is pretty iconic there. We probably should have all the Corolla variants
