As much as I like the LFA Nurburgring edition, it may be a long shot. I'd imagine there has to be some sort of sourcing reason for it to not return.

Yeah there must be some issues with getting it as you'd of thought it would of re appeared since FH1.

If i had to take a guess the leaked Demon 170 is coming post launch so thats 4 third generation Challengers in the game which is crazy!

I’m of the mind they just haven’t bothered bc the current LFA model has also been recycled a lot by this point, so they re-up the licensing for it each game & call it a day.

At least conjure up some body work that mimics the Nur., & call it new Forza Aero.

Not out the realm of possibility, especially if you observe the bed of that Ford Pick up more closely.

I think they are going a bit crazy with the Forza Editions (which I enjoy), and I would not be surprised if it is an electric swap 917, considering they did an electric Mini in Horizon 5.

My belief is T10/PG couldn't hurt to update the "base" LFA, but if they're not going to, then they're probably not going to source a Nurburgring Edition, either b/c the current model accomplishes the role they want with it in the roster. To their credit, the model is still good & there were definitely worse offenders to be re-sourced.

They could use the model they had before like they already do with the non Nürburgring Edition base LFA. I still think we will eventually reach the point where all car models are accurate.

I'm going crazy without news about Hot Wheels cars. I really wish they would at least add the Twin Mill, Boneshaker, and Deora 2. I love driving those cars in Forza games, especially the Deora with that Acceleracers or Highway 35 paint job.

These will probably be added later, like they were in Horizon 4. Forza seems to have a good relationship with Hot Wheels.

Again, not relevant to the Blocks and their cars' appearance or not in the coming game. The Hoonigan cars in previous titles were owned by either Ken Block/Block House Racing (BHR for short) under the Hoonigan Racing banner at the time, or by employees of the brand (the Twerkstallion, Napalm Nova, 55 Bel-Air just to name those 3) and since they were contractually obliged, they were licensed under Hoonigan. When Ken Block died the company got sold and most of the guys that worked there eventually left, taking their cars with them. Hert, Brian Scotto and John Chase are no longer part of Hoonigan and therefore neither are their cars, so unless PG/T10 works a licensing deal with these guys specifically that would have them under their own brand, don't expect to see those cars ever coming back. BHR probably signed a deal with the new owners of Hoonigan to keep the branding on the older cars as part of the legacy, but they're not connected anymore. I'm fairly sure the only car they actually still own is the Baja Beetle "Scumbug" so it's possible that might make a comeback as a Hoonigan licensed car.

It's like the RTR Mustangs. They compete in Formula D, but since RTR is now a Ford trademarked division, the cars are licensed under Ford and not FD.

I think so? I'm gonna be honest I haven't followed what happened in the Hoonigan universe since they sold the brand and everyone left. Zach and Gary King annoy the crap out of me with the non-stop shouting so I pretty much stopped watching what they were doing.

Unless Vermont Sports Cars/Subaru USA wants them to be branded as Subarus? Would be cool to have those in game either way.

Thinking back to previous Hoonigan cars, the cars that were branded as "Hoonigan" were either the custom cars built and owned by the employees (RWB 911 Turbo, "Twerkstallion" RX-7), or the cars that were raced and/or owned by Ken Block directly (Honnicorn, RS200 Evo, etc).

Regarding the Subarus, I'd wager that if they were to be added, they'd probably be branded as "Subarus" since they were wholly built by Vermont SportsCar & Subaru USA (I'm pretty sure that Subaru USA actually owns the Active-Aero Impreza, but I could be wrong). Since Travis Pastrana isn't (to my knoweledge) an employee of Hoonigan, nor is he the owner/co-owner of the brand, previous precedents don't really apply here.

All that being said, if Hoonigan is omitted, I'll miss running the Hooningan RS200. That car was a genuine joy to drive in FH4 & 5, and also made quick work of almost ever S2 Speed Trap and Zone that was on gravel.

I took some screenshots of the available engines for this car. The YouTuber notes that the car is referred to ingame as the “Toyota Sports 800 FE” but don’t get your hopes up. FE just means Fanta Edition in this case.

1200cc I3. My guess is this is the engine from the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 introduced in 2021.

1400cc I4. This is probably the engine from the Kawasaki Ninja ZZ-R1400/ZX-R1400 introduced in 2006 and 2012 respectively.

1100cc V4. My guess is this is from the Ducati Panigale, introduced in 2018.

1000cc I4. BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha all make 1000cc I4 motorcycle engines, so it could be any of them.

No surprise, but there are plenty of Fanta liveries available in FH5 already. This one is pretty good, but it’s missing a few things like some orange water drops on the roof, the XBox 25 logo on the pillars, and the “Wanta Fanta” logo on the trunk/boot lid.

Speaking of Hoonigan cars, I wonder if there is still a chance for the Audi S1 Hoonitron to ever show up in Forza, as I love that thing in TCM.

No idea how licensing it would work, maybe it would be possible to license it from Audi directly, in case it is a mess doing it via Hoonigan.

The Brian Scotto S2 Coupe would be cool too, though I'd much rather have a stock S2 Coupe in the game as it's never appeared in one before.

Already went over the various engine swaps by matching the specs from AR12's Beat vid w/ those of realistic real life counterparts, and I can confirm, without a shadow of a doubt, that the options are as follows:

  • 1.2L I3 > 1160cc, 180 hp, 94 ft lb > Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR (2022 - 2025)
  • 1.4L I4 > 1340cc, 196 hp, 113 ft lb > Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa (2007 - 2012)
  • 1.0L I4 > 1000cc, 215 hp, 83 ft lb > Honda CBR 1000 RR (2020 - 2026)
  • 1.1L V4 > 1099cc, 214 hp, 92 ft lb > Aprilia RSV4 1100 (2021 - 2024)
For the lower two, the power output is slightly lower than in real life: the current-gen CBR 1000 RR pushes 217 horses, and the RSV4 220.

The V4, in particular, was vexing.
It sounded like an Aprilia engine (great job by the sound department, btw), and those have been used in automotive applications, most notably with the Griiip G1 Formula 1000 racecar. However, our V4 has the exact power output of the Ducati Panigale's V4, which led me to assume, prematurely and against my best instincts, it was a Ducati engine. I've since given a better look at the specs: the Aprilia displaces 1099cc and produces 92 ft lb of torque, which makes it a perfect match if one is to ignore the power output; on the other hand, the Ducati V4 has displaced 1103 cc since its introduction on the market.
