New cars I have seen in the car list:
  • 2023 Audi R8 GT
  • 1974 Mazda 123 Wagon (Racing 808?)
  • 1998 Nissan Skyline Autech
  • 1998 Subaru Impreza BTG
  • 2023 Toyota GR Corolla
  • 1989 VW Golf Rallye

Wonder if the Mazda is the Mad Mike drift wagon?

Golf rallye???? Autech skyline?

Also am I blind? I can't spot an SLS
No zagato or ital design either. The R1S is missing too. As is the 720s/spider> Only two Land Rovers.
Wait thats the R33 Skyline GT-R Sedan

This gives me hope we will see the Autech Stagea 260RS!

VXR
The Skyline Autech is presumably the four door GTR.
There is only one 1998 Autech Skyline and its the four door yes. If only they could complete the duo by adding the original Hakusoka Skyline GT-R Sedan!

I dont think it is since it isnt from 1998.
It's Prodrive's restomod of the 1998 22B, and they usually list the original year of the car like what they did with the Singer 911. BTG is I think a reference to "bridge-to-gantry" lap times in Nurburgring.

Singer is also listed as a Porsche and not as Singer, I think.

It would be marked as Prodrive if it was the P25 and not as Subaru. I think its some kind of OEM Impreza like a WRX STi Sedan or Wagon.

No Holden Sandman? That's very disappointing considering it's been in at launch for every Horizon since 3. Also a lot of other bizarre omissions in the whole list like the GMC Vandura being gone.
A modern Holden Commodore Sandman was seen in the files of Forza Horizon 5 I wonder if that will replace it and be added in Forza Horizon 6?

This confirmed list is absolutely amazing for my tastes.

Finally getting the Golf Rallye G90 , A missing link in the Volkswagen's 50th Golf history. And the Skyline Autech R33? That’s an amazing addition. Also, seeing a '74 Mazda Wagon (probally the Mad Mike's drifting monster) is a massive nod to classic Japanese Drift car culture.
And of course, it's quite obivious that we getting the GR Corolla after all the Gazoo Racing Family confrimed in this game. Seems Toyota have a lot of love in this game, both modern, classic and niche cars. (Nissan and Honda too seems.) Hope that good relationship will made the debut of Daihatsu and the return of Suzuki (my Cappuccino should be in this game!!) since they both on Toyota Motor Company's Umbrella.

I love when Playground Games focus on cars with heritage. Can't wait to drive that Autech!
Bugatti is no longer affiliated with Volkswagen.

Maybe that's why Playground hasn't been able to secure the Bugatti license.

I'm hopeful that now that negotiations regarding the change of ownership of Bugatti have concluded, and that Rimac is present in FH6, Playground can reach an agreement so we can have Bugatti back in a future update.
You hit the nail on the head. This feels like a carbon copy of what happened with FCA during the transition to Stellantis back when Forza Horizon 5 launched.

We saw Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat, and Abarth vanish from the starting roster for quite a while because the legal restructuring of the brands meant all licensing agreements had to be renegotiated from scratch under the new corporate entity (Stellantis). So it's quite possibile that in future, Bugatti will bring back. (Damm I will miss for a while my beloved EB110)

Because it literally says it in the files sub.impreza22BTG

so it's a 22b touge edition

We have also known about the touge edition since the preview build so it kind of the only thing it could be.
Luckily it is easy to convince me that I was fooled.
