I don't know why they replaced the forums with the new portal. The site is so terrible to use:
  • You only see the last few replies and have to spam a button to get to the older ones
  • It takes ages to load, doing so in pieces at a time
  • Search doesn't work
  • Changing sort order hardly works
  • Pages that exist don't appear on the list of topics
And moderation is going well (not), I went to the page for the twingo via discord and the first thing I saw was someone who named themselves the n-wodd, I'm not joking. That should've been filtered out before the password was even set.

The OG afaik. It’s white if that means anything.

Sweet as - that's an OG one. If FH6 runs great on the OG, it should be even better on the X.

To an extent, this also implies PG has done well on optimisation. It's really good to see they have come a long, long way since FH3's terrible PC port a decade back.

Kinda reminds me of the discontinuation of Xbox Console Companion and its successor Xbox App still lacks many things the previous app had. It sucks but I guess we have to deal with it. And you cant even vote on the polls you can only vote on the topic. The Forums were so much better!

I'm talking about the new suggestion hub.
Yeah there is definitely room for improvement. A lot needs to change for it to become a worthy successor of the old Forums.

Also I wonder when preordering the game if there is a code inside the purchase confirmation email that unlocks the pre-tuned J50 or if it gets sent to the same account that was used to preorder the game? My mother is getting me the game this Thursday and I am not sure how that preorder bonus is unlocked.

If you pre-order digitally (like me), it should automatically be added to your garage. For physical copies, I think there's a code on the receipt that you can enter in the Xbox store to activate it.

Thank you.

I miss him.
That's tragic but in seriousness it's possible to praise the classical song selection and actor's excellent performance without dismissing the other DJs and stations as "dross". I feel such an approach all but invites derision from others as some of those genres are other people's favourites as well.

Personally speaking, I'm happy for as much variety as possible in a soundtrack I'm probably going to listen to dozens, if not hundreds of times.

Really interested by Opus, some great modern artists in the playlist (Oneohtrix Point Never, Kelly Moran, Mary Lattimore, Olafur Arnalds from Sigur Ros). Honestly it feels like more care and curation has been put into it than the classical stations of the past. Obviously it doesn’t have the instant familiar of like Beethoven and Wagner in the old games but for those who have listened to the stations previously, they’ll be plenty to enjoy still.

Pretty stoked on the Sub Pop station too, I like that they’re not just the newest or biggest tracks of artists either, the choices seem a little more inspired. Being local, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever would be close to being the band I’ve seen live the most in my life, so their addition is pretty cool.

XS has strayed quite far from my personal tastes over the years (compared to FH2 particularly), a lot of stuff I’m not necessarily a fan of, but still some cool additions like Turnstile and Snooper.

Modern J Pop isnt my most familiar genre but pretty sweet seeing YMO with a couple tracks. No Takanaka feels like a missed opportunity though, would’ve been a lot of fun to have in game.

Pulse and Bass Arena have some neat additions, but both are a little middle of the road for me personally. Neither feel quite as 2026 as they could’ve been. Block Party also misses the mark in the same way but I’ll still give them all a shot in case there’s a some tracks I’m unfamiliar with.

Honestly I’m as much a music nerd as I am a car nerd, Horizon soundtracks have always been been an exciting reveal time for me.
