There's no need for this go as hard as it does. Absolutely unnecessary. :lol:

I'm never bothered about pre-ordering something I know I'm going to get as I'll typically pull the trigger a day or two (sometimes even an hour or two) before it actually drops, but after watching the launch trailer and listening to this...yeah, I pre-ordered earlier than usual.

Just downloaded the update on my Xbox Series X. Just over 7.5 GB if I remember correctly.

I got my XSX day one, November 10th 2020. I bought it specifically for Forza Motorsport, since I was super hyped for another FM-game after seeing the short teaser trailer on "E3" 2020. I never imagined then, that I would have to wait another 3 years for FM23 to launch 😂🙄

Anyway, I've used my XSX for hundreds upon hundreds of hours and it hasn't failed me once. It never gets hot even during long sessions and it's still whisper quiet and just as fast as day 1. I guess Microsoft did a decent job engineering it. From what I've read online it has been pretty much bulletproof for most people.

Fun story about how I got the Series S... I placed my order on Amazon and I received... a bag of 5 pounds of sugar! Evidently, it was hijacked at some point from the local warehouse to my home (if not at the warehouse itself), but those were the heady pandemic and shortage days... But Amazon came through and soon delivered a replacement console.

Getting my Series X was more normal, 2 full years after launch.

Very interesting - I thought the Gemera would be base game content based on the achievement photos, same with the Time Attack 240Z.

Either way, a really cool selection for the first Car Pass batch - that Skyline is gorgeous.
 
I got the Premium key for Xbox PC and was able to activate it. Now it is im my MS Store library, but when I click in download 'Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition' it says 'There is a problem'. Then I tried to download just 'Forza Horizon 6' and that works right now, 147.5 GB. I have all the other parts of the premium edition in my library as well, like car pass, VIP etc.

Is that normal that I can only download the 'standard' FH6 entry?
 
According to to this post it looks like there are some differences in the startup screen between pre-release and launch.
For some reason this screenshot unfortunately puts the latest version on top, so read this from bottom to top row:


Could just be PC vs Xbox graphics, although someone pointed out to me that previous Horizons typically use an FMV as the opening screen so it should be the same across platforms.

the skyline has showed before in a Forza so yea i feel that those can go to playlist
i assume the first of the list will be that subaru kei car they scanned some time ago or the new Toyota Crown (US Spec)
 
With those being the first 8 cars of the car pass, I can’t even imagine what the other 22 would be. We’re gonna be eating good for a while boys.
