I was driving around the southwest corner of the map when the game quit on me. Not just the game, though. The XBox completely shut off, too. When I started it back up, the game did a quick synch, and all the online functionality returned as well. But so did the constant stream of disconnection alerts. ¯\(ツ)
For me, it's been the opposite; this game has been far more stable with online connectivity than FH5 was. In that one I kept having issues with joining multiplayer events until it just stopped working after about five months and eventually couldn't even publish Eventlab stuff, which made me wonder if I had been shadowbanned for some reason, plus the Eliminator bug where you couldn't see the other player cars never cleared up when I could get into matches so that game mode was basically unplayable from the jump. This time around everything works just fine.

The nostalgia! That's fantastic, and being so close to the real map, the Devs must have planned for that to happen in Event Lab.
People have pointed out earlier that particular area looks very similar to the real world location, and from what I've been told it's always been a pretty iconic part of Tokyo, so it only makes sense to include it.

Not sure where to share this, but I recreated Tokyo R246 in Eventlabs, think you all would enjoy.

Share code: 163 024 043 (time trial) / 171 552 994 (race)

That's awesome! i love that. And given its not in GT7 sadly this will do nicely.

Looking forward to waking up in the morning and finally heading to Japan.

Bow on legend island, was honestly hoping there be a hidden car there or something
But slowly making my way though the remaining countless BUGGY races, boards and mascots

I can’t seem to get the welcome pack car voucher to show in game, anyone had this issue?

Edit: it doesn’t show up until after you go through the whole process of “buying” a car and choosing my it’s colour

Because I won the Ferrari 330 P4 with a wheel spin, you're not getting it? I'm confused.
I’m assuming he thinks the game is still chucking high end stuff at you from wheelspins left, right and centre, which from my own and most other’s experiences, couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve barely got anything of note from mine, the most being a couple of 250k spins.

Just a little heads up so you don't spoil anything for yourself like I did.

If you haven't got them all, don't go onto the events lab, make an event, and choose to set custom cars. It tells you each and every treasure and barn find car. As in, says in big text "BARN FIND" and "TREASURE CAR".

Was a bit annoyed it spoiled the last couple for me. Isn't really necessary to tell us that.

In other news, probably a stretch but, has anyone got the game on their Xbox/PC and on Steam too? How is the cross save working? I can't find any concrete info about it. I know that you have to buy DLC, but I can't find anything about how VIP works and how it works if you have premium on one and not on the other. I wound up putting a ticket in to ask, because it would be nice to not have to spend £220 on the game. Even if you just only have your VIP bonus active when you play on console I'd be happy - I just want to be able to make liveries and things in bed with the deck

The new bug feedback site doesn't work at all. I can never get anything to load. I just want to see if I'm experiencing a known issue.

The "How Many Drifts?!" and "Screechy Clean" badges aren't unlocking for me. I don't really want to use them, so it's not a big deal, but I do prefer unlocking everything I can anyway. I've seen other people with these badges, so they clearly work for at least some people.

Was it really necessary to kill the Forza Forums for a new site that doesn't work? :grumpy:

I finished the campaign after a day of grinding yesterday. Tip to new players: try every driftzone, speedzone, danger sign etc because you need to get those points to get to the Golden Wristband.

My quick points without spoilers after a weekend of playing on Series X in performance mode:

1. it is addictive. The game has a good pace and has that addictive factor that keeps you playing.
2. The Map is quite good, I had some reservations regarding the wide roads but playing the game it is not really a factor. There are enough tighter roads for more technical driving.
3. In terms of Graphics I expected a little more. Sometimes it looks great but sometimes it looks cheap and oversaturated. Those green hills in the mountains to the North of the Map In broad daylight for Example.
4. I don't like the fact that hardly any tree stops you. Therefore you loose the sense of danger when going wide out of a corner. The old games had some thicker undestructable trees.
5. The sound is really bugged right now. It happened on multiple occasions that I had no engine noise during races. This is not a matter of tweaking your settings, it is a gamebreaking BUG that really makes me stop playing the game. I also had no sounds on the menu's and wheelspins etc a lot of times.
6. The official races/racetracks are pretty good altough a little short.
7. The handling needs some time to get used to. It is very responsive and it feels more planted than FH5. I am not sure yet what Handling model I prefer.
8. the difficulty levels are not the same as FH5. Highy skilled on FH5 is very easy and on FH6 is quite challenging for now.

For now I am going to stop playing and hopefully there is a patch soon to fix the audio problems. I will soon start scouting my first custom routes to create longer races.

Watched lots of gameplay vids in 4k, good quality sound, and some even in HDR. Well...

Graphics are good I guess? Nothing spectacular. The car sounds seem quiet and less detailed compared to FH5. What's going on here? Saw lots of audio comparison FH5 vs. 6 videos with dozens and dozens of car - did they literally cut out the details and loud dynamic range that made FH5 so much fun?

Handling I can't comment on as I'd have to play it first but looks like the same ol: little suspension give or chassis flex, cars moving around like dogem cars with little to no bodyroll, and landing like a brick after catching air.

Not really sold on this ATM.

Okay, I don't remember winning this Evija FE. So I guess I have 3 Forza Edition cars now including the Viper you get from having the ultimate edition.

EDIT: Nvm, just noticed the download symbol.

I maxed out the skill tree on that Evija FE. It’s my go-to car for driving (read: sliding) around in freeroam to farm skill points. If anyone knows a better car let me know. 😎

So far Im really enjoying the discover japan events. Really cool. Not really liking all the off road races as they are really hard if you dont have a 4x4. I go no problem on asphalt but as soon as it's loose, it's super hard to drive the fr/mr/rr cars. I have to change difficulty for the "dirt" events which is annoying. Otherwise the game is a blast.

It is to be expected from a new site. There will be loads of adjustments and improvements coming.
