My only real complaint so far (other than these constant disconnect alerts) are the AI cars. They divebomb in corners worse than a twelve-year-old playing Gran Turismo for the first time.
It felt just like playing real people to me. Not in a good way.

The game's rubberbanding is showcased pretty prominently in Mei's day trips so I wonder whether AI opponents do the same thing but slightly more subtly.

This and that you can’t add/change parts before a race start. Sometimes I’d like to switch tires depending on the road ahead. Jumping back and forth from garage to events is a bit annoying
Although the AI got less annoying after lowering difficulty. I wanna enjoy the ride, for competitive racing I have other sims

For comparison, FH5's lifetime peak player count on the platform is 81,096.

This and the absolutely insane amount of Drivatars in free roam. Touge runs are near impossible because there's some AI car in the middle of every single blind turn.

The Spec Racing playlist seems pretty massive. I've done loads and only seen a dupe car 2-3 times. Must be a hefty chunk of the playable cars.

Some really cool ones have come up in it too, had a few FE's, stuff like the Audi S1, F40 Competizione and even the Jaguar D-Type.

Yeah, but I wish we could choose what car class to use or maybe even what type, like hot hatch etc.

If the game works like FH5, it will never give you a duplicate car from a wheelspin as long as there is a wheelspin car you don't own.
Okay, I just got a duplicate from a wheelspin, so it's going to take a crazy amount of time to get all the wheelspin exclusive cars if it can keep giving you duplicates.

Edit: I think I misremembered FH5's behaviour previously. I think now that it also could give you duplicates, what I was remembering is it doesn't give you duplicates when you get a legendary, it will always give you a legendary you don't already have, if the wheelspin produces a legendary.

I wonder if there's a set minimum difficulty for the Playlists. Back in FH5, you need to complete events on at least Highly Skilled. I don't have a problem with that, I'm starting to get used to the new physics and have been doing better at winning at that difficulty.

Yes, FH6 has been hugely successful so far, and the interesting thing is the player count hasn't even doubled after base game players got access, so they sold a LOT of Premium Editions. They may well have fully recouped the game's development costs in the first week of sales.
I don’t know what the development costs were but I believe there were a couple articles from a day or so ago that the game reached 1.4 million players just off Early Access.

That sounds like a pretty impressive return just off the “hypothetical” if they were all Game Pass users who bought the Premium Upgrade for $60 (iirc the price) to play early.

A 50/50 split between premium upgrade and full premium purchase, would be somewhere in the region of $119'000'000 in raw sales.

I know there's a lot more to it than that but even that ballpark is a huge sum.

A lot of the time when I have any issues with any Xbox game, manually closing the game, restarting the Xbox, and booting the game back up fixes it. That'd be my first port of call.
Yeah indeed! But this time I was playing on my XAX. I remember at midnight the game just froze and I had to kill it and restart it. That might have been the issue. Several reboots / restarts didn’t fix it either. But I saw many other people with the issue too. And thankfully, the first patch they released today fixed it for me, as soon as I started up the game after updating I got that message 😎

There's this glitch for SRT Demon where you have sport (the middle one) chassis reinforcement on, the upper body (pillars, among others) becomes transparent from the side.

I came across this video on Youtube today and I can confirm thay this method works if you want the Miata FE as soon as possible. The 5th car spawn for me was the MX5.

So in short: Return to the Xbox dashboard, quit the game. Load it up again. Fast travel to the festival drag strip. Buy the car that spawns and re-do the procedure of it's not the MX5.

Got the Miata FE on my 3rd try. Thanks a lot for sharing.

2 hours on the clock, 30 minutes of that getting past the invalid gaming services block + tweaking settings... after 90'ish minutes I lost frames during a night race and it didn't really recover afterwards (60 -> 30 then back to 40 in open world). Seemed like a memory leak, I don't suppose anyone else has experienced that? (PC or otherwise)
