I've watched YouTube video's of this game and come to the conclusion that it is Horizon 4 and 5 with new graphics therefore I will not buy it until it's in a sale on playstation.
Ok, so you based your decision on watching compressed videos with no controller/wheel feedback so you will join the game about one and a half years from now... By the way, isn't GT7 just GT Sport with new graphics?

What a stupid take. My man wants to drive spaceships on the moon, it's cars on roads, not so much you can improve on that.
Whats stupider is relying on influencers in regards to is it good or not when in reality they are just opinions and not facts. It explains why cults exist unfortunately.

I dont hate influencers but I wouldnt take their opinions as facts and I do my own opinions.

The map is really good, much better than mexico, you really feel like you're travelling significant distances, seeing Tokyo from the top of the ski resort really highlights the scale well. What's disappointing is how minimum effort went into highlighting japanese car culture or culture in general, they could've leaned real hard into that japanese aesthetic with expressive menus, music, mascots, customization and general vibes, but they do almost nothing. It's really strange and a missed opportunity to make it really stand out and make it memorable. The driving is good, the roads are fun to drive and explore, but even the festival theme is mostly missing, there is that one place on the map with baloons flying over it and a few fireworks and that's it???

I must confess, I thought people constantly saying certain cars needed to be remodelled were just whining for the sake of whining, but it really does add new life into driving them when they look this good.

It seriously does. I'm one of the ones who complained a lot about this topic, but I am so extremely grateful to the devs for putting in the time and effort to do these cars justice. I know probably 75% of the people who play the game don't care, but for us car dorks it's a massive plus.

And fantastic work on your Altezza, btw. Looks like a real enthusiast-owned car you'd see in a racetrack parking lot in Japan.

I'm not interested in influencers, just watching gameplay.

Aww, I wish the Ferrari 296 GTB and the Ford F-150 SVT Lightning weren’t locked behind online events. Not fair for those who don’t have XBOX Live Gold.

Guess I’ll have to hope that I can try to get them as Aftermarket Cars later on.
Once you ever get a PC you can play online without a dumb subscription.

It does explain modern day society though. Influencers and billionaires have successfully turned independent and critical thinking into a dying breed. Its one of the reasons why cults exist. Its not a good trend and I hope we can stop it.

Thank you! That’s the inspiration for most of the cars I’ve been modifying so far. Seems like far too much effort, but I’ve been looking at Japanese auction sites and car spotting pages to get a feel for what they do to certain cars to make it look ‘right’.

I think that Microsoft is soon making online play free for everyone; however, I cannot remember where I saw that article....

MSZ
If you plan to play FH6 for 5 years, the subscription money you saved is quite substantial.
True, but not enough to buy a PC, though. I'm not sure it would even cover a high end graphics card.

The playlist championships appear to go straight into the race without a difficulty selector so it looks like they're locked to Highly Skilled, alas. I can see the inclusivity reasons for why they do it but I was holding out hope this might have changed for those who fancy a slightly tougher weekly challenge.

So, the Forza.net post mentions that we need 20/40 points to get a reward car, but in-game, we'd need 15/30...

Will we revert to 20/40 rewards by Series 2?

Also, you can achieve 30 points without even doing multiplayer stuff.

Now that I see this, does that mean the weekly FOMO might still be here?
I'm not entirely sure that the premise and conclusion go together. It seems to be an additional reward for remaining engaged with the playlist over time - and the first of likely many.

Ordinarily I'd post a Treasure Hunt solution, but it seems that they're very, very dumbed down now.

I've played it and I'd agree with that. For me the original Forza Horizon on the 360 was brilliant and fresh. I skipped Forza Horizon 2 because I didn't have an Xbox One. Forza Horizon 3 I had on PC and again I thought that was brilliant and fresh. Probably one of my best racing game experiences ever.

Then I bought Forza Horizon 4 and for whatever reason it just never clicked with me. It felt too similar to Forza Horizon 3 and I couldn't get enthused about it. I skipped Horizon 5 because my PC was aging by the time it released. And Horizon 6 I've played on a Series X but again it did feel like more of the same again.

It's hard to fault it too much because it does so much well and the reviews and general opinion reflect this. But if you've played a few of these games already I would recommend your course of action and at least checking out some videos before paying full price for it.

Hmm, you need 500 points to get the Cosmo, but is it time limited or not?
I could be wrong but I feel like that's 500 points accumulative throughout the lifetime of the game. And those prizes will continue to stay up. I don't even think 500 points is possible in a season

I have the same information that you do. To me it looks like a permanent reward that gives you the car for getting 500pt across any series, and that there will be further, additional rewards in the future for higher points scores.
