Well this is a problem. Because of the constant disconnection problems I’ve been having since the game launched, I can’t do the Touge Showdown portion of the weekly Playlist.

I don't think it's just that, although I'm sure it certainly doesn't help. Each time I got a showdown which matched one of my Mazdas, my opponents kept ragequitting in the middle of the event because they failed to smoke me leading to the above error message.

I was lucky enough to get a challenger who showed up in an Evo and yeeted himself off the mountain at turn one. His Mitsubishi easily beat my 2011 R3 in the second race so he felt emboldened enough to take me on a third time.

Fortunately, he didn't know how to slow down at corners in the final race so I was able to clinch the win in time and he forgot to nope out before the event ended so I could get the 3 playlist points. It seems like Touge Showdown is a rotten choice for a playlist event because it requires two players who are mature enough not to rage quit halfway through the showdown when they don't dominate their opponent. A tough ask, in this game.

When I finally found an opponent who was willing to actually start the first race (took maybe 30 attempts), they quit in the middle of the first race, but it still completed the playlist activity for me.

If someone wants to take a stab at recreating the Missing Roads thread without having an absolute hissy fit over on-topic discussion on a discussion forum, feel free.

Oh, what the heck. Missing Roads Thread I’ve been here for nearly 15 years, ever since I bought my first XBox, a 360, and FM3. This community has been so good to me, I’ve done my best to give back. I’ve helped a couple people get cars when they were away from the game for an extended period. I helped a dozen people get codes for the Trolli Peel (speaking of which, I’ve still got one unused receipt if anyone outside the US needs one). The community is always deserving.
If you still have that unused Trolli receipt, I would be extremely grateful.
As for Missing Roads, I've still got 500+ to go before I get to that point... I'm taking the game at a leisurely pace as we've got approx 4 years still to go before new content finishes.

Mine was other people kept disconnecting in middle of initial loading screen leading to error. It took quite a while for someone to actually play for atleast 1 event. I think you actually only need to play an event using a mazda

Have you tried the steps in the GT7 forum pinned connection issues thread? It works just as well for Xbox as for PlayStation (though GT is a lot more finicky), although you can't have two DMZed devices at once (at least in my router) so if you flip between them as often as I do...

Then I must have confused with something else but I do know that game has RUF.
Yes you have, and yes it does. We have a Master Car List in the GT7 forum if you care to actually inform yourself before dropping stuff like this in front of the eyes of the kind of people who already have it memorised.

Some Forza influencers I watch also make Gran Turismo 7 videos so that's where I have my knowledge from.

Which we've just established is not a lot. Also nobody asked. You've responded (again) to something that didn't concern you with an answer that's wrong and irrelevant.

Not. Every. Post. Needs. You. To. Respond.

I have played Touge Showdown with a notable person from the community named KillerSpectre21. So I had no problem with the Festival Playlist Activities. It was fun doing it too. He's a great guy.

Yep, that happened to me several times before I got one, my guess is people did not have a mazda in whatever class was selected, and I had to go back to the garage myself and build a mazda for each class to make sure the same did not happen to me.

I have the same when I try to join via the festival activity. When I go to online and start a togue showdown from there, it works for me.
Also had no issue finding an opponent, 2 great and very close showdowns so far

Started my little time trial series I did in 4 and 5 now that I got all my first round cars. I may make a thread posting those times (if it's allowed) but it feels nice to be back into my Horizon routine.

Btw this means Peel P50 at the Collosus, that's how it starts 😂

Looks like I'm at that point where there's nothing left to do except for wait for the next Festival Playlist season, as I've completed everything so far. But I would tell you this, Raku Raku Express was one hell of a grind.

Did you reach Level 100 in Horizon Play though?
