I damn near had a heart attack. Luckily, it lets you reload from your last full fresh boot up, which for me was only a couple minutes before the game had crashed and put me here, so I hadn’t lost anything. Still went through the seven stages of grief in the space of ten seconds before I realised this though.

One thing that baffles me - I'm still missing the "Autumn Discovery".
I heard if you do a custom event in a different season then either leave or complete the event it sets you back to Autumn with a animation and then it should fix it. Never had it bugged but try it. People have said that this is a fix.

Share your map (probably three or four images) without any icons on it and the GTP collective will help you narrow it down. There's about that many usual suspects for missing roads and double-figures of awkward ones.
Yeah this place definitely has some great people.

Thanks, I'll give it a try the next time I play. Oddly, people seem to be having trouble with "Big In Japan", but I got it right away.

I just visited a couple of people's estates including @FordGTGuy's but the achievement didn't pop when I left.

I wonder whether The Trial will put co-op teams up against Unbeatable drivatars as it did in the past. That'd go down well. /s

Yeah the daily challenges not working for some while it works for others is really strange. I wonder why its so inconsistent?

Thanks for the suggestion, but for now I will try to finish that by myself, when I can't do that any longer I will share the map here.

If you are on PC, wiggle the mouse around on the map and watch for changes in the line allowing you to fast travel with X. That is by far the quickest way to find what you are missing. Also, keep in mind, FH6 sometimes colors in the map in such a way that you literally cannot see the problem(s).

Good call. I will try that.

I don't remember if I brought this up (I probably did), but I never liked the fact for Festival Playlist, they require players to participate in multiplayer events to unlock exclusive cars.

I prefer playing Single Player, but at the same time; I want to collect every car in the game. So if I want to do that, I still have to participate. I mean, it's only a few minutes. But it's the principle of it all that annoys me. I guess this is a wierd quirk I have (one of many), but I don't like it when companies tell me to play multiplayer. I can enjoy multiplayer on my own, I feel less encouraged to play multiplayer when a game tells me to do it.

For me, Horizon is probably the least intrusive online multiplayer game out there. But I get what you’re saying.

How are you folks finding the game in general? All that it was hyped up to be? Have the physics improved or same old dogem' car physics model with little suspension travel/sway, infinite grip, and cars landing like a brick with very little spring oscillation? Cars still brake like F1 cars?

It's fun and I like it more than FH5 so far quite a bit. I think I might like it more than FH3 & 4 aswell.
I don't think it's my favorite Horizon, but it's in the top 3 of the 6 games right now.

As for physics, it feels better than FH5's physics and the jumps no longer seem to severely slow down cars. That was annoying.

Definitly upgraded since 5. Brake distances are quite a bit longer. Also the slip angle is more refined. Feels more natural.

Enjoying fh6 to the fulles on the Steamdeck. What an incredible effort this game is.

I don't think anyone who plays a game in which hypercars regularly launch themselves off ramps to make leaps of well over a thousand feet into hundred foot drops or more is thinking "I wish the drop physics were more realistic". But there may be a few.

The cars used in Cross Country are usually monster trucks with huge suspension. Buggies are also included but they absorb the impact better than in 5.

This is just how it feels to me in first-person bonnet view. Maybe people who play in chase view will have a different opinion of whether cars bounce and lean into the suspension when cornering hard or drifting but it sounds to me that this would be more of a cosmetic thing for people who can see the backs of the vehicles while driving.

I've heard that the way to turn corners more quickly in FH5 was to wait until the last minute, then slam on the brakes to steer around the bend; I'm not aware of how well this worked because I instinctively try to brake and accelerate gradually because of my muscle memory from more realistic games like FM2023 and EA WRC SPORTS.

From the sounds of things FH6 has some changes to the model and braking distances are longer. YouTuber DUBS theorises that they're using the tyre model from the last FM which has multiple points of contact.
