I hate this... I'm soo bad at drifting

That's as close as I've managed to get and tbf I'm usually pretty good at them. So you're not alone at all!

I hope it's not penalising for using a slower vehicle. I prefer to use a more realistic amateur drift car than the crazy horsepower ones - but it seems it's easier to get points in something faster?

You guys can't just play the game normally? I always see the complaint that "Forza just throws cars at you" but I also cannot go onto the community made stuff without getting 20+ pages of "100000xp in 5 secs". Sorry but it is annoying, and I feel like the grind is more enjoyable and rewarding. I get people work (I do too), but doing all of this just takes away from the fun of the game.

Also, I have been sifting through the event lab to find actually good maps. It is time consuming because it is filled with either the maps I stated previously, or Goliath maps that go around the whole map. I'll post a list if anyone is interested.

Also, Horizon Promo is easy to do when doing a race by yourself, takes like 15 seconds to take a picture of cars. Does not give a lot of points (each car is 10) but it adds up to a lot.
Yes, those XP farm maps are really annoying. I just want to see some creativity of other people in custom routes/tracks.

I kinda like the fact that progression is slower. Therefore Buying something like a F40 when you hardly have enough feels more like a decision you have to make.

The grind to the Carrera GT also felt more rewarding.

I'm sure it's out there somewhere but the farm maps are so popular that they float to the top of the list when browsing. If it's like FH5 the playlist will try to showcase maps that Playground think are worthy of a spotlight.

I wish it were easier to find tunes and liveries I like. I favourite anyone who uploads a good one so hopefully they'll be easier to find.

yes, I am sure there will be good tracks/routes but they are completely snowed under by all the fast XP events.

I made about 10 custom events and I have seen one confirmed player that tried one.

XP/Money farms are usually a symptom of a different problem, namely that a significant number of players find the current gain rate too slow so they want to fast-track it.

This is understandable in a game that encourages you to collect several hundred cars.

If Playground consider it a problem they’ll address it but it’s common in any game with creative tools for people to optimise their progression rate.

You're far from the only one.
I have plenty like that. And the drift zones I’ve successfully 3-starred don’t look much better. I’m not here to get on anyone’s leader board. Once I hit the required number, I immediately stop drifting and drive carefully to the end to make sure I bank the score.

Edit: This game is so cruel.

I've spent the last few weeks building a tuning tool for Horizon players because I got tired of manually calculating setups every time I built a new car.

The site is:

The goal wasn't to generate tune share codes. Instead it creates a full tuning setup based on the vehicle specs, build type, drivetrain, tire compound, power level, and other factors, then explains why those settings were chosen.

At the moment it supports street, rally, off-road, drift and race builds, and I'm still adding vehicles and refining the tuning logic.

I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from experienced tuners. If something feels wrong or you think a recommendation should be improved, let me know. Real-world testing feedback is exactly what I'm looking for.

What features would you want to see in a tuning tool like this?

TEST YOUR **** OUT, PG
Aaaaand it reset my "In the Zone" Daily Challenge from Autumn, despite still registering 44/45 (no Monthly Rivals yet). Second week in a row it's reset a Daily.

Is it just me or is the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupé necessary to complete the weekly challenge not available to buy?
// nevermind, i'm really blind apparently.

It’s not a prize car from this week’s Playlist, either.
