Oh, The Eliminator is 🤬 trash. Maybe I've had bad luck twice in a row now, but the first one I did I couldn't claim the #2069 Bronco no matter how many times I pressed the button and the player chasing after me lightly taps me and gets it immediately.

Second one, I'm in a 131 Abarth being challenged by a Honda City (lol)...and I get stuck, or rather clipped into a beam or whatever the hell it was. Yeah, I Alt+F4'd and am about to go to the supermarket now.

The cross country daily challenge worked for me just fine by using one of the base events (not custom). The Total AWD one near the festival.

After doing the M2 weekly challenges I quickly got the online crap outta the way. It's all stuff I loathe like Eliminator and Horizon Drift but fortunately I was able to lurk and let the keeners crack on to net me the playlist points with minimal effort.

(Yes... they were one of my birthday presents)

Weird: Winter hasn't triggered in my collection journal, which is a problem because it's the last thing I need in that discovery section. I didn't get an introductory "welcome to this new season" cutscene, either.

If no one minds me asking, I'd like to know if I'm the only one who is noticing these things, or if others have been having similar experiences.

1 - A phenomena I refer to as "The Hare". A drivatar that it noticeably faster than all the others, to the point where all other drivatars are still in the previous zip-code, but that one guy is still ahead of you or on your tail, clearly on a higher difficulty level than the rest of the field. Have you experienced this?

2 - Dirty air. Horizon is not a sim, but its handling has simulation foundations. One phenomena of real racing is dirty air. When you follow close behind another car, particularly if you're racing a highly aero dependent machine, the air disrupted by the passage of the car in front, in its turbulent state, can't provide the adequate downforce it would normally provide, thus reducing the performance of the car following behind. I seem to notice a downgrade in the cornering performance of my car, when entering high-speed corners and following another car relatively closely. So, I wonder, is dirty air simulated to a degree in FH6?

Just got the 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Forza Edition from a Wheelspin. Now I just need the Porsche 917 Forza Edition and I would finally have all 18 Forza Editions!

For those who are looking for some easy vending machines to unlock the Lotus Emira, you can find 3 at the base of Tokyo Tower...

...and another 5 at the end of this alley that opens up into Shibuya Crossing.

As far as I can tell, as long as the "FEED ME!" Skill pops up, it counts towards the Emira. Each individual machine can also award that skill. If you're slow and careful hitting the machines, and wait for the skill points to be awarded before tagging the next machine, you should be kosher.

I just did the drift championship. In the last two rounds, just after the race started, a 30 second timer appeared until the race would end. Both times two people with 0 points won while the rest got disqualified. Cheaters?

The timer thing happened to me but only on the last race. Didn't check the leaderboard afterward though.

No dice here. Did a bunch of the seasonal events and threw in a regular event and custom event (specifying "Winter" under season) for good measure and it hasn't registered yet.
Try to do a short Rivals event, their usually in the Summer or Spring, and when you go back to the current season it might pop up for you

What do you mean by kosher in this context? I know its something religious but I dont know any other meanings outside of religion.

Well, I managed to do an online drift championship with a Dodge to get the Countach, but in the worst possible way, because after the 2nd race started, one loser disrupted it by turning it into a drift adventure somehow, thus managing to "win" with zero points. This repeated in the 3rd race and the championship ended. Fortunately, I got the car, but I was disgusted. I hope XBOX has some permanent bans at the ready!

How was that a Adventure? I dont get it. Also I am pretty sure these drift races function the same as they did in 4 and thats when it was called Drift Adventure back then.

Whatever the cheaters do, they cause the races to finish earlier than normal, and they take the 1st place with 0 points.
I must've had one of those in my party as I also got the Adventure popup and each event only lasted 30 seconds. This was ideal for me as I wasn't trying to win and wanted out as soon as possible.

Despite that, I hope there's a way to document and report these assholes who are spoiling it for everyone else who, unlike me, likes drifting and knows how to do it competitively.

The snow is so nice to see again. The change of scenery is more enjoyable than it was in fh5, I couldn't tell the difference in seasons in that one.

This was a very questionable decision. For those who have not read, a tl;dr is that originally, the expansions and the Italian Passion pack were not included in the upgrade. This new bundle includes them.

I don't know what the original price was, but it is 60 USD now for the upgrade. The other odd decision is they require the players who want the new upgrade to request a steam refund, and then buy the new upgrade. I am unsure why they did not include those dlcs originally (maybe an error?) but still, a lot of players will not see this new change, so I am unsure what the thought process was in all of this.

This time around is better for me personally because I appreciated the winter wonderland aspect of FH4, but felt hemmed in by the familiar British scenery and longed for a more exotic locale so it's great to have both.
